Can I use duplicate amazon content if...?

Hello again guys. I am building a site with lots of different amazon product reviews. I am writing all the reviews myself and they are all around 1000 words with lots of different subtitles and sections with info such as features, product description, user feedback, price, warranty, technical specs, where to buy, negatives, etc and I was wondering what your guys take is on using some duplicate content from the Amazon product description page.

Basically I would take the product description details from Amazon and have that in the middle of my 1000 words. The "duplicate" content usually makes up for around 400-500 words of the review and the other 500-700 words of the review are 100% unique and original and written by me by hand.

I put an intro paragraph or two to grab the readers attention to keep them reading (about 150 words usually) then add the "duplicate" content and then add other details and info in my own words after that. Do you think this is ok still as I am still having a lot of my own original content with some duplicate stuff mixed in.

I see a lot of peoples amazon reviews around here and other places when I am looking for products too and they tend to only be around 500 words so if I have 1000+ words with 500-600 words that are unique content anyways wouldn't that be ok?

I am targetting lower competition/low searched buying keywords such as "product name review" and in many cases would be competing with Amazon for top spots in Google. Would this still be achievable even if I am using some content from Amazon?

I know that was really long but any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again.

You have no idea what duplicate content is... so, don't worry about it.
(It is definitely not what you think it is!)

I know it's not duplicate content I just said that to make my explanation easier. I just mean is it ok to use content for my review that is copied right from Amazon?

As long as you are a) promoting Amazon products and b) sticking to Amazon's terms for using their intellectual property (which are posted in the affiliate area - I'm going to leave that for you to read for yourself).
