Google Chrome Extension

Hey Warriors!

Just installed a Google Chrome Extension called WebWorth. It estimates the worth of a website depending on traffic, google ads etc.

I checked out how much The Warrior Forum was worth... apparently it's worth somewhere in the region of £5.7 million

Could be a handy tool for anyone that is selling sites or is interested in buying a site

Hope this helps someone!

No offense, because I know you have good intentions, but these website evaluators are worthless.

There are numerous different factors that they can't and don't take into account, which makes them inaccurate.

Sorry to burst your bubble :p

  • I have no idea how much that is in US dollars but it sounds like a lot. I've been using chrome a lot lately with plug-ins like Seo quake and the MOZ toolbar. Chrome is definitely my new browser of choice. See you later Internet Explorer.

How many percent of traffic is taken as profitable clicks ? Does Google treat sites on the same percent ?

        Who Knows?

Well take the WF for example... There is no way that tracker can 'track' how much Allan is charging for those banner ads up there^. Or those ads below the threads.

They can't track how much he makes from people buying WSO ads, banner images, WARoom memberships, article section, etc.

      You know what I mean?

Yeah I understand now, thanks. So if I have a blog or any other site for that matter what should I base the value of the site upon? I mean which factors would I, or you guys for that matter, add together to get a "value" or price for my own site?

        Thanks guys.

EDIT*** In the case that I was going to sell it on Flippa for instance?

Now I'm not experienced at all with this type of thing, but I've always heard that you can sell your site for 8-10x's it's monthly profit, but maybe that's just lower end websites?

Hopefully some more experienced Warriors can comment on that.
