If you ever wondered why you followed somebody's secret system and couldn't replicate their success, it could be that they left out a very important detail.

Here's an example from the world of soccer.

But he shows you how he does it, so surely it's just a question of practice, isn't it?

Well, not completely.

I watched a few of these kind of videos and then I realised something important. The ball is slightly deflated. Of course it's much easier like that.

Naughty!!

So, when you buy a "secret" system, look carefully for the missing secret. It could make all the difference.

    I've very often found "the missing link" from product or programme A is "revealed" in the course of following programme Q from another "teacher". Anyone else had "aha's" along the way like this?

      Yes, particularly by discussing the missing link with other people and doing research.

    Sometimes the secret is talent. I've got a friend that looks like he's part fish whenever he's swimming. When I swim I splash around so much that the lifeguard starts to get nervous.

    There are many, many ways to make it in IM. While some marketers are successful at several methods, others need to concentrate on the one thing they're good at in order to succeed.

    That's why selling a "system" is so popular (and lucrative for some). Those who are still waiting to see some success in Internet marketing should first concentrate on a method that works for them before buying a system. They'd be much better off discovering that they enjoy article marketing as a method before buying "How I Write 2000 Original Articles a Night from Scratch While I'm Dreaming & You Can Too!" the system.
