1000th Post, a different approach...

Well I’m not going to make a big deal of this and I’m not the kind of person to celebrate getting “x” amounts of posts.

I did however think, it’d be a nice occasion to say thanks to a lot of very great people, on a very great forum. So, no marketing tips, no get rich quick stuff, just a nice big old thanks.

This is in no particular order, there will be lots of people I’ve missed out.

This isn’t intentional. I’m only human.

The underlying message however, is to say a very big thank you to all the fantastic people I’ve met here in such a short part of my life and to say how grateful I am.

I wish I’d come here a long time ago....

I’d first like to say thanks to Alexa Smith, for being my greatest friend here, she’s taught me a huge amount and I’m proud to call her my friend.

I’d like to thank Bill Platt for being such a good friend too and providing more laughs for me here than anyone else.

Ex Rat, Roger, for being such a gentleman when I arrived and helping me out. Not to mention his brain-bendingly intelligent posts.

Sbucciarel, Suzanne for being kind to me when I joined and not taking any crap off anyone.

Dire Straits, Michael, for being the bearded lady and a true brother. We’ll drink to that soon my friend.

Cathy Shelver for being an inspiration on how do deal with the hardships we face in life. A true Warrior, like someone else here.

John McCabe for being one of the greatest people this forums seen and being in the syndication club, always standing his ground...and for the best signature statement there is. Sorry.

To Paul Myers for his great newsletter, iron grip on the forum and for grabbing me by the collar once or twice and showing me right from wrong.

Roy Penrod for our friendship. You won’t meet a nicer, kinder Warrior.

Oneplusone
for our friendly chats, for having a good heart and a nice car.

Steven Wagenheim, for just for being, Steven Wagenheim.

Steve Farnham for being a really good bloke that always governs with a smile.

Kay King, for being so “straight laced” () and always replying with honesty and a no s*** approach like Suzanne.

Caliban, for being a touch crazy, like me and sharing a nice, still hungover chat on New Years Day.

Caleb Spilchen for giving me faith in the world’s youth again. That’s a big deal dude.

Dan Rinnert, well, what can I say?...

Andy Henry for being, well a good old fashioned straight talking no nonsense intelligent guy, I’ll add Dennis Gaskill on there as well.

Istvan for, without knowing it, teaching me more about Wordpress than any other human has.

To Paulie888, for all our nice chats and your nice sensible attitude. It’s Ok to be an Okie.

Rsberg for his help and advice and the time he gives people. A truly helpful guy.

Profitsforall, shaky start but we get along just fine now. I’ll add the Emporer on there as well!

Wd Mino for being just a dam nice friendly dude.

Paul Barrs for letting me in his fancy pants new product which is excellent I might add and just being an Aussie.

Warrior Kay for showing me spinning isn’t the work of Satan…

Ok, you get the picture. There are so many others, this was not an extensive list, just those that came to mind right this second.

I’ve crossed paths with so many decent people I couldn’t even begin to put them all in one thread. Apologies to those I’ve not mentioned, there are many.

You all know who you are though, no matter how big or small, I salute you all.

You’ve given me a lot of help and education. Fun, laughter and the odd fight.

I’ve enjoyed it.

Thanks also Allen, for giving so many people, all in the same business, the chance to mix, mingle and share their ideas.

To all those new folks here, take it from me, you won’t find a better place to learn and you won’t find a better bunch to learn it from.

Enjoy your Saturday night everyone.

Then.... what's the point of this thread? :p

Anyway congrats on 1000 posts! (Even though you don't celebrate those kind of things)

To say thanks big brain, or did you skim it? Guess you finished reading on the first sentence.

      I'm not celebrating, I'm thanking.

You should be on there Mike but I've worn out my fingers. :p

That is alot of contributing, congratulations.

I haven't had the pleasure of frequenting this forum, as I am usually quite busy with the websites I currently own/run. But have made it a point to start networking with like minded individuals online, so will be around more going forward.

Now I know which members to keep an eye on!

Hi Rich I am flattered to be on your list, it is a great bunch of people on it. You deserve a thank you to, you are a genuinely nice guy who is always kind and helpful. You epitomize the saying " it's not what you say it is how you say it that matters " Even if you reprimand some of the less considerate posters out there you do it in a nice way.

Congrats on 1000 posts it is a milestone worth at least something different I believe.

    Here's to many many more

    "Wuddup blood"? lol.

Seriously - many thanks for the mention, Rich, and congratulations indeed on 1000 posts (my beard sends its love, also).

(I've no idea when - if ever! - I'll get there, myself, but it'll certainly be a milestone - and one that'll only have taken me about 3 full years, LOL. :p )

Thank you also for giving me the pleasure of being able to read your posts, which are always very open, grounded and full of good logic. You're a great asset to the forum, for sure!

Have a good evening yourself! Now off I go, back to tend to my Navy Rum, Kettle crisps and peanuts.

Dadellius, Cathy, Sanssecret and my good man Mike.

Thank you kindly, for your very kind comments.

Cathy, you know how much I respect you.

Sanssecret, You are one of so many I didn't add, not because you shouldn't be there but because I just had to stop somewhere . I assure you, you should be there.

I wish I had planned this, rather than just writing it, I know there are so many others that I should have put there.

      Mike, enjoy that Rum bruv.

    Congratulations on your 1000th post.

Glad we got over our initial spat - you've proven yourself to be one of the most generous and giving people on this forum (even if the ungrateful little sh*t did rip you off).

Looking forward to your next 1000.

I do have to add - I'm slightly gutted I didn't make it on to the super intelligent list like ex-rat (although in fairness I'm not surprised either )

You're on the list though and believe me, I'm not sure there's anyone with Rogers brains.

I read his posts then spend the next half a day looking through the Oxford, trying to fully piece it together. It always makes enormous sense in the end, just takes me a few minutes and sometimes longer to catch up

      Thanks,

I know you had a tough time and exams to do but in light of the fact I paid for them over three months ago, I'm not really bothered if I get them or not now.
