A Simple FREE Way to Manually Submit Articles to Hundreds of Directories FAST

Article submission has been my best tool for building lots of backlinks and ranking 2 and being on Google's 1st page for many big keywords in my niche. I developed very good system for myself to submit articles fast and efficiently.

So, a few weeks ago I stared offering article submission on Fiverr. Today, I got a message from someone who basically wanted to know what method I use to submit articles so efficiently. Which inspired me to write this post as I know this is a problem many of us struggle with.

By the way, for those who are looking for ways to make money, fiverr is a good way to make some extra cash, offer whatever you can think of and can do and make it stand out.

I spend a few hours and searched and found 20 or so dofollow instant approval article directories and made my gig stand out by offering to submit 1 article to 20 dofollow instant approval article directories. I have been getting orders regularly and made decent amount of money and have even got a few regular customers. Offer a service and do a good job and it will take off.

Ok back to the article submission issue.

We all know that article submission is an important part of internet marketing, blogging, seo,... But, its very time consuming to submit articles to more than a few directories. So, the option is article submission tools. Most good ones are paid whcih many people may not have the money (especially beginners) to pay for, plus, even paid ones are not totally automated and take a while to get the hang of them.

There is one good free submission tool that I truly think is better than even paid ones. You can even add custom directories, but it doesn't work work with say WP based article directories and etc. Non the less, its a good tool. You can see it here If you want to try it out.

So submission tools have their own problems, manually submitting takes a long time but its much better (at least thats how I feel) because you are sure its done right.

That is why I came up this simple copy paste method that has helped me submit tens of articles to hundreds of directories without spending a lot of time.

A simple method for submitting articles fast and efficiently:

1- Make a especial folder in your bookmark folder and name it Article directories

2- In Article directories folder, make a few different folders and name them Style 1 Directories, Style 2 Directories,...

3-
In Style 1 Directories folder make a few folder and name them simply 1, 2,...

4- Register with directories. After that attempt to submit your first article. When you are submitting the first article, while you are on the article submission page, bookmark that page (we do this so when we open the page, we will be automatically on the submit page without having to waste time logging in and then clicking on submit article to get to the page)

When bookmarking, depending on directories style place it in folder 1 of the Style 1 Directories folder. Repeat this process, and put the same kinds of directories in one of the folders (1, 2,...) of the Style Directories folder (Style 1 Directories, Style 2 Directories,...). But, only place 7-8 sites in each folders.

Here is the reason we do this:

You can either open bookmarked sites one by one, or open all of them at once with one click. One by one takes time and we want to save tie even if its a few seconds. Opening 100s of tabs will bring your computer to a scorching halt. So, we use those sub folders (1, 2,...) to enable ourselves to open 7-8 sites with one click.

Use a plugin or whatever to automatically save your login info, so when opening them up, you dont have to manually enter info. (another few seconds saved)

5- I am sure in the past when you submitted articles, you have noticed that many directories look alike like ArticleSnatch, ArticleRich ArticleAlly, GoArticle...

There are a few different scripts that most article directories use, which means many of them have the same fields the exact same way (title, summary, keywords, etc). So when bookmarking directories (while submitting the 1st article), put the directories with same fields in the same folders (folders made earlier- directories 1, directories2 or whatever name you use).

6- Now, whenever you want to submit article, start with sites from the same folder. And follow this pattern:

copy title and paste to all of them, then keyword, than body and so on. You will be amazed how fast you can submit article to hundreds of directories.

Then move on to another folder and do the same. As I said, its all about saving few second here and there whcih when you are talking about submitting tens of hundreds of articles to hundreds of sites, adds up to a big time saved that can be used to get other things done.

The first time when you register and submit the first article, you spend a lot of time organizing everything, but after that you are good to go.

Of course, you can use form filling tools like RoboForm, but personally I find it much slower when I use Roboform because it slows down your computer, So its much faster to cope paste stuff.

I hope this will be helpful. Please feel free to share your methods or if you think of any way that would improve this method, so we all can benefit. Good luck.

Note:
I used those names for bookmark folders (Style 1 Directories, Style 2 Directories and 1, 2, ...) just to make it easier for me to explain and for you to understand. Obviously you can name your bookmark folders whatever you like.

You are very welcome. Yes it is very easy and fast. But even if you still don't want to do it yourself you could even tell your virtual assistant to do it this way, so they can get done with your projects much faster and easier.

        Thanks for sharing Satrap!

This will come in very useful in the next few weeks, when article submissions come up again in my linkbuilding rotation!

I bought a five button mouse and assigned the extra buttons to copy and paste, it saved lots of time and RSI in my left hand!

        Cheers

Yep. You can also take that automation a step further by creating your own macro (free) to do this. If you have the program Magic Submitter (roughly $70/month), you can train it to automate this for you as well.

I use my bookmarks very similarly for article directory submission processes. I have backed them up so I could delete them, remake them in the template like yours, and then export and zip them to include an article product I wrote.

              Awesome tips!

Imacros is a free plugin for firefox.

                https://addons.mozilla.org/en-us/fir...s-for-firefox/

You can record any action on your screen by simply clicking "record" macro. A macro takes your user action and automatically generates code to automate that action for next time. They have a tutorial that launches after you download the plugin that teaches you how to externally reference a spreadsheet. To automate article submission (or any other similar task), you basically put your information into a spreadsheet, have the macro call that information and it it will automatically populate the fields for you. It's kind of like roboform on steroids.

So when you get a gig order, do you create a new account at each of those 20 article directories or do you use the same accounts each time? Fiverr only pay around $4 per gig so it seems a lot of work for only $4.

  • Hi Satrap

    Thanks for sharing this.

Its so nice when people on this forum are prepared to take the time to help others.

I only use a few article directories at the moment.

Can I just ask 1 question? If you are copying and pasting to all these directories, how do you deall with the duplicate content issue? I'm assuming you don't include EA.

    Thanks again

I am glad this is helpful.

Deborah, by duplicate content do you mean, sites that dont accept already published (elsewhere) articles? If thats the case, most article directories including ezine, do accept article previously published elsewhere.

If you are referring to the famous "duplicate content penalty" myth, than.. well thats just a myth.

Duplicate content is only hurtful when you have the same content on two different pages of the same domain. Think about it, if duplicate content was an issue, non of these article directories including ezine would have not existed, moreover wouldn't be on the 1st page of Google for thousands of keywords!

But, dont take my words for it, read from the source itself. Here is what Google has to say about duplicate content issue on its official blog

      Google on duplicate content issue

I submit the same articles that I post on my blog, to hundreds of article directories and that is actually how I was able to rank 2 with all those backlinks for one of most competitive keywords(ways to make money online) in my niche. But, I always submit the article on my own site and wait until it gets indexed, then I submit to other sites. Its important to have the original article credited to your site.

I hope this helps. please feel free to ask any other question you have. Best of luck.

Yes you could, but the whole point of this guide was so you didn't have to buy submission tools or could have more control over the quality fo your submission while not wasting too much time.

I used both of those tools before, they are great. But for me personally this method works much faster and I know all my articles are submitted to the right category, forms are filled with the right text and etc.

Yeah, I used to do it without subfolders, but then I realized it would be much more efficient to be able to open 7-8 site with one click rather then going back to bookmars for each site and spending extra 3-4 seconds.

Great tips ! May I just ask one question. According to your own experience, how long does it take to submit to (let say) 100 directories using your method? One hour? Two hours per 100 sites?

      Thanks !
