Hello all , i been thinking about what would be the best method for me to start into the IM business , since im a bit limited on money i want to spend my 100$ the most effectively possible , and i thought buying a hosting acount and domains (i could use subdomains of 1 domain though for a start i guess) maybe its not be best idea though, let's say it could take a few months to get ranked for a website and i would'nt be able to keep my website up forever unless i get some cash in , i've been reading some about CPA , and it looks interesting i think , let's say i use 37$ for war room which many peoples recommend , then i learn some about CPA in the war room , also should i consider trying PPC or PPV to do some "split testing" would it work on a small starting budget such as 60$ or it's just not a good idea ?perhaps i should take a look at "small WSO's" for CPA then allow myself 50$ budget of advertising to start with .

so thats it what do you think of this little plan ?

I'd advise you to build a blog and place adverts (preferrably CPM based, as they pay per 1000 impressions) along with that do CPA (make your own methods and twists, however i do recommend reading a few already successful methods for getting a basic idea)
That way you can reach your goal

To start with paid advertising is very wrong, cos if you do not know what your doing you will just jump into a big hole and lose your pants off. Start with Article Marketing since there is no risk and its impossible to fail if you try hard enough. But if you really want to try your hand at CPA go l00k at Kensters posts in the CPA asection of the forum. This guy's gold if you really put his advise into practice

Thanks for this tip - most of us wouldn't know to look at his stuff. Will go there.

With only $100, I would put on Hostgator hosting (their live chat is fab so you can rely on them for unjamming any jams you get into). I would learn Wordpress (lots of free resources - your "cost" is only time), and I would try to get some cheap gigs putting wordpress up. (This is getting paid for practicing). In parallel, I'd put up some listbuilding sites in the niches you are interested in. (Cheap domains at namecheap or Godaddy). There are free or cheap autoresponders. Then you can look to keep the lists and start to build relationships. Each spare few dollars can buy another domain.... and then hopefully your affiliate income will start to pay, so you are on your way. Recycle every cent you earn for as long as you can.

Remember, essentially it is a numbers game - more sites = in theory more eyeballs = more money, but each site will need to be promoted, or spend some of your earnings on paid traffic, which is FAR quicker.

Keep promoting, keep building relationships with the list, keep putting up more sites......

If your plan is to use PPC or PPV to promote CPA offers and your budget is just $60, I'd say to save your money and try something else instead.

First of all, in order to properly test a PPC or PPV campaign you'll need at least several hundred dollars in order to a decent job, so this rules out PPV or PPC for you.

Secondly, it will take you at least several weeks to get paid by the CPA networks, since they typically pay out on a net 15 or net 30 basis, meaning that any commissions you make in the entire month of February will only be paid out on March 15th or March 30th.

As others have already mentioned paid advertising is probably unsuitable for your budget and experience.

Investing in the War Room would certainly be of benefit to you in my opinion as you will find a lot of valuable advice and content which will give you a better idea of how to move forward.

You might also find this post helpful if you haven't already seen it:

Thanks for the answers ,the main reason i wanted to try CPA/PPC is cause i thought it would be easily upscalable but i'll follow your advice , i will focus on blogs , but the main problem for me is i can't really write ,well i'll try but chances it will sucks are high lol..outsourcing might be a little risky for sure when i get more to invest.. i guess i can put some content from PLR and take some inspiration in customer reviews .

I had another small question about blogging and monetizing , what if i do for exemple a blog that gives tips to stop smoking for free, what kind of advertising should i put , cause if i do like adsense it will most likely put some random nico-patch or things like that , should i find some related offer on like CJ ? , or maybe some random CPA offer like "win an iphone" would work better ? eventually you will tell me to look for products that are directly related ..

Rewriting or spinning articles would help with article marketing. Even if you decide to outsource the rewriting of articles, it generally costs around $2 per 400-500 article. This is how much it cost me last until I got an article spinner.

I agree with everyone in here, If you're new with 100 dollars to invest then you should stay away from PPC, there are plenty of free methods to make money online, it might take you longer but during this time you will learn a lot.

You can however set up a blog with hostgator, I high recommend them, also don't forget about Squidoo and Hubpages you can make money with them as well and these sites rank well.

Get hosting at iPage, it will be a pain later on, but for 4.50 a month it would be best for your budget. Learn a CMS... You can get a domain name, and hosting that is under your budget.

It is easier to use money to make money. But you obviously can't at the moment. So I suggest getting a couple domains, host on ipage... unlimited domain hosting.. build up a couple decent looking sites, see how you do with adsense and other programs, and if you aren't making anything, sell your sites for more cash, and put it back into it!

To build up additional cash when you're on a low budget, go to fiverr.

i was considering hostgator , should i get baby plan ? also , im not worried about setting wordpress up as you said there are many free ressource to learn from and it's not too hard for someone that have some knowledge in internet/computers like me , 1 thing though wordpress is free, but the plugins are'nt though ? what other cost should i consider , i mean like necessary costs , let's say i can hold 5 month and a few easy with the cash i got for hostgator , a few domains , so if i do like 2-3 tests , then i sell the website ,how does it work , for like if this domain you picked is'nt good for ranking and you wanna give up , prolly can't get refund , but can you cancel domain ? or have to wait 12 months for it to cancel . hope this post is'nt too confusing i have alot of things in my mind at the moment .. thanks for all the help provided so far !!

You can get a coupon to get the HostGator baby plan 1st month for only 1 cent so they are giving the 1st month away free virtually. Then it's only about $10/month after which is peanuts.

You could put up a few Youtube video's that will earn you $2.50 a week which will cover the monthly hosting fee.

Many WordPress plugins are free. Only certain ones cost. You can't cancel a domain and get a refund but you can sell it on. There's sites such as Free Domain Names listing - buy, sell or rent a domain name - free listing - Domain Names Bank where you can sell your domains without paying a fee.

  • Check odigger.com or offerinspector.com for offers relating to your specific niche. Join those certain networks and then put your deposit in with PPV marketing. For me, this is the cheapest testing you can do and usually if an offer is converting well for me here, then I can expand it onto other things. Its a good testing point. Just keep your eyes on the stats constantly so you can make changes when necessary. Everyone else's advice can work as well, but for me, this would be the cheapeast route with just $100.

I think you already have what you need, domain and hosting. The rest of the traffic generation techniques are done free. You can also use Facebook and twitter which are also free to drive traffic to your sites.

There are free techniques, but most of the real profit comes from the ones that aren't. Have to spend money to make money. Period.

    Here is what I recommend...

Don't spend your money on advertising - Invest in your education.

Join the War Room and talk to members who have experience. Read Articles, buy some WSO's and learn everything you can about the industry of internet marketing.

Since you can get started in I.M. $0 I recommend you use the knowledge you invested in to start promoting affiliate products using free traffic methods. This will allow you to work on defining target markets, writing sales copy, etc. which are all critical business skills.

Like any business, you need to learn it and understand how it works before spending money.

    Good luck!

    Tony

P.S. Remember, Begin with the end in mind.
