What if someone sells stolen products as WSOs?

I and some friends have noticed that a certain member here has been selling scripts and methods here as WSOs claiming to be oh-so-blackhat ... true, they're somewhat blackhat, but they're also stolen.

The WSOs in question tend to close abruptly, with the original post wiped clean ... I assume in an attempt to leave few tracks.

Would it make sense to submit a ticket regarding the next one when it occurs?

Thanks very much!

If you can prove it, the forum would like you to report it privately first.

Use the support desk, but only if it is stolen from you.

    Otherwise inform the product creator.

If you know for sure that they are stolen and that you can prove it then you should report it.

Submit a ticket immediately if you know for a fact that they are illegally selling the products and have not obtained licensing to do so and report any future WSOs they post selling stolen products.

    Thanks everyone.

Those from whom the products were stolen had no idea at first until they were alerted. One became a new Warrior member after the last time it happened so that he could take a look for himself. My understanding is that the matter was taken care of behind the scenes, but I'd like to find a more open way to deal with such outright theft.

    Thanks again for the advice.

Just remember that is against the forum rules to "out" anyone openly, better to use the report system.

Of course. I was inquiring about proper channels for something this unusual.

Thanks so much again for the advice.

By all means use the help desk - but not only if it was stolen from you. If you are unable to reach the originator, report it anyway.

WSO's are required to be original products - and definitely not something stolen from someone else.

Just give the factual info you have and let admin handle it from there.
