My first website update

Really nice site indeed! I live close to a breeder and he actually owns 20 acres across from my home where the mothers go during gestation, and where they raise their colts for the first few months of their life. I don't know much about horses, but have had so many questions since I've been living by them - I'll definitely be returning to your site!

Also, one tip you may or may not have gotten by now - less is more with AdSense. AdSense will always display the highest paying advertiser first, so by placing fewer ads, you actually maximize revenue by displaying only the highest paying ads for your niche! Remember that text ads contain 4 or 5 links...

Nice start on the website.

Regarding your Google Adsense: for the best results, the ads should be placed within your content. That way the ads, while they do need to be obvious ads per Google's TOS, they will flow better and be better targeted for your content. Your readers will be more likely to click on the ads.

I would suggest your change your theme to one that incorporates Adsense within your blog versus placing ads alongside your blog. Or even just get an adsense plug-in, though I think you would be better with a theme designed to optimize Adsense.

Do you have a privacy policy on your site? This is required by Google. You can get a privacy policy plug-in to place in your footer.

One other suggestion I would make is to try not to put all your best on one page. Spread your graphics over multiple pages. There is no need for all the photos plus the video on the first page.

And think twice about having the 'running' words across your site. These features are distracting and may cause a longer download time.

I like the site and as already mentioned you are probably on to a winner.
I personally would take the adsense ads off of the right hand side of the page and if you have other advertising put that in its place but keep it bright.
