How Can I Get Business Card Out there Another for me to Get More Business

Hey Everyone, I just Got My new Business Card and i want to put out it out there.. what is the best way i can do that? :confused:

    Seriously, though.. the best way is always a face-to-face networking event or meeting of some kind.

    However, I can tell you this... 100% of all business cards I have ever received are now in the trash. Networking with Facebook, LinkedIN, and Twitter just seems to be the way to go these days.

    Just as using business cards may not be the "best" way for marketing, there is no one best way to get your business card out there. But assuming you are doing offline marketing, you may want to join your local chamber of commerce, other civic and networking groups, conferences, seminars, and volunteer associations. Introduce yourself with a short 20-30 second commercial and ask for others' business cards. Most of the time they will in turn ask for your business card reflexively. Another point as alluded by others is that this is only a small part of marketing and just handing out business cards by itself without other marketing efforts is nearly ineffective.

    Looks like the noticeboard at our local supermarket. Does anyone really have time to read these?
    Presuming that business cards is just one small part of your marketing.
    Where is your main target market to be found? That's where your cards need to be.
    You could reach more people by placing ads in your local newspapers.
    Better still, do some press releases. Make it really interesting and you could achieve free space.

    Besides being conversational about your business, and then offering it, (face-to-face networking), visit restaurants, laundry mats, spas, movie theaters, bars, libraries, churches, and leave a few business cards.

    I'm a firm believer in meeting people, because you can create a relationship just by showing an interest in that person, offering to solve a problem that they may have, and then showing them your card as a possible solution. People love to talk about themselves, and you can position yourself as a solution-creator if you're clever. Whatever you're marketing, tweak your sales offer as a solution to a problem and you'll invariably peak the interest of others.
