Do exit pop-ups still work? I mean when someone leaves my page and gets the offer at a cheaper rate?

If so what is the easiest exit pop-up creator?

    They may work sometimes.. but more often I think they just annoy people. I am always really peeved when there is an exit pop-up like this.. firstly because I exited for a reason and this is delaying me, and secondly because I had to exit out to be offered this special deal in the first place, as if I'm a more valued customer for being unimpressed. I think that even though they are still fairly common, you should go a different route.

    Exit pops do work. I like to actually exit to a squeeze page instead of a discount.

    But yes, they are annoying at the same time. So you don't want to use too many.

    I use exit popups and they definitely do work well (although they upset a very small number of visitors).

    Most of us are too involved in IM to give you a real opinion on whether exit pops are annoying or not. I see hundreds of these things every week but they are mostly on IM or Clickbank products. For the 'normal' people of the world who are not seeing these things all day, every day, they would probably be a lot more effective.
