How do you back up your websites?

As you probably heard a number of warriors lost access to their websites when the owner of the hosting company they were using died unexpectantly.

Think what a disaster that would be if your sites bring in a significant amount of money.

How do you back up your websites when you may have dozens or even hundreds of sites on a reseller account?

What are good options other than backing up each site individually from it's cpanel?

I use the WordPress Database Backup plugin for WP based sites and build my non WP sites with XSitePro so it's on my computer to start with.

There are probably easier methods, but I´m old fashion for this...

backup the database from Cpanel, and backup the files via ftp.

I think Suzanne had a free report about it.

And I should have a step by step lost somewhere... if you don´t figure it out pm me and I look for it.

Always keep an exact replica on your hard drive by installing Wordpress on your computer. If you lose a hosting account and its contents, you can quickly and easily copy and paste the database and files onto your new hosting account and bam, ready to rock!
