how can I increase my optin rate?

INTERNET MARKETING

hi everyone, I just changed the look on my site, and I realised that I am no longer getting optins, though I think this one look more professional than the first, but i am not just getting optins,

the website is wwwdotloseweightwithoutstressdotcom

please replace the dot with . because I have not reached 15 posts, so I can't post a link. any advice will be appreciated as I don't know what to do to increase the optin

Might help to change your URL to something..ehhhh catchier?
Your page is really simple and doesn't motivate me to give your product a try.
How about putting in some before/after pics and some testimonials.

Make sure they are real though Fsomethingsomething will be on your ass.

Actually for an optin/squeeze page it is quite long. I would not be wanting to make it any longer at all. The page needs to be shorter and punchier.

A professional look does not always give better results. It really depends on the niche you are in and the visitors you are attracting. There is no point trying to guess what works best. Try some different variations, set up some split testing software like Google Optimizer, and see what gives the best results.

I do agree with the above poster though. The page doesn't really grab people and inspire them to scroll all the way down the bottom to the piddly little optin box. Rule number one for optin pages. Your signup box should be above the fold - meaning people should not have to scroll down the page to see it. This will kill your conversions big time.

Have you tested a simple squeeze page design yet, like this one?

I will usually start with a simple design like this before I get any fancy graphics done.
