    1. Find something that works.
    2. Outsource as much of it as you can.
    3. Find another thing that works.

    Rinse and repeat.

The most important thing to remember is not to put all your eggs in one basket. Diversify and multiply. I think article marketing is a good way to start. I also recommend being a product owner.

        top 3 systems

        1. Sell Valuable Products with possible retention, ie software or content websites.

        2. Create Services and Systematize and outsource.

        3. Create Niche Content Sites -- People will always go and look for content and then you monetize through adsense and affiliate products.

I have a feeling Clayton wanted us to give specific techniques like Article Marketing, selling Clickbank products, CPA marketing, etc. I think what we are giving him is more useful than those things anyway, right?

I say article marketing, once you master that (which will take a while) then you can do pretty much what you want.

I see alot of crap articles. Focus on providing quality....it is said that 1 quality article is about as good as 40-50 crappy articles...who knows could be more.

Quality articles to presell a sales page. It will take you a while to master, but heck its sure a good way to make money.

Hi Will, yes you are right mate, that is what I was looking for.... But still fantastic to see the passion and focus some of the warrior members have running their online business.... Plenty of great feedback already, thanks Team !!

Also can anyone direct me to the terms and conditions for this forum.... I keep having to add my posts back in as some are not posted, some deleted, some A ok... So Getting a bit confusing..... They are simple posts not selling or promoting anything, just asking questions and contributing...

So just wondering what are the guidelines for the moderators in these forums !! Some strange things going on....

      Thanks Guys !!

        1. Don't bounce from business idea to business idea. Stick to one avenue at a time until you get established sites in it or prove that it doesn't work for you.

        2. Write good to great copy for your own info-products or any affiliate promotions you do.

        3. Learn the basics of driving targeted traffic to your site.

Bonus: Track your conversion rates and work on improving them over time.

          Hey Mike,

That is definitely a simple system that anyone could follow.... And many of the warriors have emphasized the same basic principals...

With so many products, hype and info out there now it is easy to get confused....

Thanks for sharing Mike and everyone's valuable contributions...

Are there any specific methods however that will make it even simpler for newbies to get started....

          Thanks

    2. Realise this takes time and consistent work
    3. Scale up, scale up outsource then go onto another method if you like

You should care about having different income streams so that you won’t depend only on one source for making money online. There is too much competition in all fields, and this is why nothing is easy online.

First of all, be a good student and participate of this forum everyday. Read many posts because many warriors give you precious lessons here. You’ll learn more in the Warrior forum than reading numerous ebooks.

Begin using free platforms to test your skills like Squidoo lenses, Hub pages, etc.

If you are a good writer, read everything you can about article writing online and become a good writer. Follow ezinearticle’s blog so that you may learn many things about article writing and marketing, and start submitting your articles to this article directory. Promote the free Squidoo lenses you’ll create in your resource box under each article.

Here is a lens that teaches you how to create many Squidoo lenses without wasting time:

    http://www.squidoo.com/passive-income-website-traffic-squidoo-beginners-guide

Create many lenses and promote then in the Squidu forum. You’ll learn many things in this forum. Promote your lenses everywhere online.

Create a blogger blog to test your skills. Don’t create any website or product before learning very well how the internet works through free methods.

Here is a very interesting link I kept about all internet marketing misconceptions that you must be aware of:

    http://www.warriorforum.com/main-internet-marketing-discussion-forum/292294-what-most-popular-misconceptions-you-have-seen-im.html#post2923282

Don’t fall in any trap. Never spend your money if you are not sure that you’ll have positive results. There are many dangers online. Don’t trust just anyone. Be a serious marketer. Making a living online is a battle, especially until you find your niche and you start making serious money.

Be very patient and study everything you can.

Here are 3 key areas that you will have to learn in order to leverage
the Internet and make a steady income:

    1- Entrepreneur:
You will have to learn how to become an entrepreneur if you are not already one. An
entrepreneur looks at a business opportunity as an investment of time and money in order to turn over profit. An entrepreneur knows the importance of Self Discipline as there will be no boss standing over him or her telling them how to spend their time to best build their businesses.

    2- Marketing:
You will have to learn how to become a savvy marketer. This is someone who has learned the necessary skill sets to always have a pipeline full of targeted leads and prospects that are hungry for what they have to offer.

    3- Mindset:
This has got to be by far the greatest prerequisite for success in this industry. Successful marketers truly do ‘Think and Act’ differently than most other people. They have learned how to believe in themselves and their personal missions.

Here are the top 3 strategies to earn a steady stream of income online:

      1. Discipline

It takes discipline to continuously do the same things every day over and over again. You see, marketing is just basic stuff but you have to do the marketing processes every day to see a substantial improvement in your sales and productivity. And to do this you need discipline.

      2. Determination

When all others fail, these successful marketers continue doing what they have to do every day until they see and notice slight success. Still, they continue marketing their products until such time that they reach the pinnacle of success completely. It takes determination to continue doing what you ought to do despite the discouraging factors that you encounter every day.

      3. Desire to learn more

It takes knowledge and know-how to be successful in affiliate Internet marketing. As such, you must have the desire to acquire knowledge every single day in order to formulate solutions and strategies to apply in your online marketing efforts. There are new developments in the internet marketing industry that happen every day, thus the need for constant learning is a must.

    Give this a go:

    a) Go to Google Alerts to find out whats new and what people are talking about
    - You can do this for the niche that you're in using your own keywords or generally
    - Be prepared for heaps of alerts. It can get annoying receiving all the alerts but com'on man, if you get the inside scoop on what's relevant and then provide a solution, peeps are gonna love ya!

    b) Find alerts that scream for solutions...then find the solutions. If you can't find any, create them. Creating solutions can be a lot more profitable, but in saying that you can make a good amount of coin using other peoples products.

Thats it really. Google Alerts is really under utilised to find out what peeps aka customers are talking about / need.

Good Luck and most of all, have fun!!!!

I've used Google Alerts in the past but now I prefer to just go to the forums in my niche and you can easily find what topics are hot and trending. Imagine someone wanting to find out what topics are popular in IM at the moment. It wouldn't take them long after having a quick look through the most popular threads to find those with the biggest response.

Think about it, where else do people in your niche hang out and talk all day, every day? And the best thing is you can spy on them.

Yes, yes definitely WillR. But, what would happen if you used Google Trends in conjunction with stalking forums.. ahhhhhhh

    I'll give you mine.

    Fiverr
I'm making a killing off of fiverr, and using it to amplify my business. All my gigs are automated, and can be done in a few quick minutes. The money I'm making here has allowed to expand my business a lot quicker.

    Clickbank

I have a couple of sites running on clickbank that generate a steady income, not as many as I would like but I'm really selective about the niches I build in.

    Amazon
I'm getting ready to launch a couple of different websites to find the best approach to making money with Amazon. I really think that it's going to be the next big money-maker for me.

If your looking for a place to start making money then I suggest fiverr.

As I see it, there are only three strategies...

      1. Sell Products, as either the product owner/creator or as an affiliate.

      2. Sell Services, whether you are also the service provider or a broker/middleman.

      3. Sell Attention, whether you do it by blogging, Adsense sites, CPA offers, etc.

The common word to all of them is SELL.

As for systems, you need to experiment and find the systems that work for you. And if you plan to do more than just make a living, you'll need to learn how to build a team and manage them. Depending on your chosen model, your team will likely be a combination of outsourced employees, freelance contractors and automation systems and software.

I took the question as business models:

    1. Develop and sell your own products: ebooks, software, services, websites.

    2. Promote affiliate products: tangible and digital.

    3. Advertising: adsense, cpa, chitika, direct ad placement, domain traffic.

And how many times has this question been answered before?

And how many times have the same regurgitated answers been given?

And why on earth is everyone so fascinated with "Methods, and Strategies, and Potions, and Elixirs, and Magic Pills?"

Stick to the fundamentals people. Methods and schemes and strategies come and go, but the fundamentals will always remain constant.

what is working for me is I have a low cost entry program that almost everyone can afford, and the way I market it is free so everyone can do it and duplicate it easily.
Get in a program that pays directly and instantly to you and the higher the commission the better.

as you can see there is not one answer to your question.

And I fear you might be getting drowned....just like many other newbies.

Just know that you need to pick one thing and keep working hard till you master it. That is the best way. Jumping from one thing to another and coming back here and stomping with your fingers in your ears like a 3 year old never did anyone any good.

    Just saying
