..the gravatar monsters on my own wordpress blog.

Sure they are cute, but not quite how I want to be remembered

I've set up my gravatar and it shows perfectly on other people's blogs but for some odd reason not on my own.

I think it has something to do with my email address which used to be one without a gravatar. I changed that this afternoon under General Settings -> Email address to one that def has a gravatar (b/c it works on other people's blogs)

I know it won't retrospectively go back and change posts I made yesterday for example but surely it should show correctly for ones I've made 10 mins ago?

What am I missing here Wordpress peeps?

    Your gravatar will be linked to the email address you used when you signed up to Gravatar.com, so changing your email address in your General Settings is not going to make a difference.

    Firstly, go back and set your email address to what it was previously.

    Second, decide whether you really want to use gravatar on your site or not, because you can choose to use a blank avatar or the Mystery Man avatar instead of the little monster.

    If you do decide to keep using gravatar then you need to make sure that the email address that is being used in your profile is the same as your gravatar email address. To check go to the Dashboard -> Users -> Your Profile and under Contact Info it will display your email address.

      Thank you - indeed it was the setting under 'admin'. I was changing it under Settings -> General
