I posted over a 100 replies today, and it shows that I only posted 37

Some forums, like the Off-Topic forum, don't count. If you post there, your post count stays the same.

Furthermore, if you post things that are reported as spam or deleted by the mods, you lose those posts from your count.

Exactly as Caliban has described above.

I just took a look through a lot of your posts, to be honest what you've written here is probably the longest thing you've written since you've been here.

It may pay to slow down and take your time, try and help other peole out and contribute. Is there a reason behind posting so many in one day or did you just resonate with all 100 threads?

Oh I don't mean it to sound harsh or anything.

It's just a great place to learn and meet people that can really help you and give you direction.

You get noticed more and helped more when you need it, as you contribute more.

I know what it's like when you first join and it's easy to go a bit post crazy.

Maybe they didn't count because you made phantom posts

always try to offer value and contribute to the main topic of a post, tow word posts will doyou no favours in the WF. The Wf is a community where other members all try to help each other and add significant value to the overall forum, remember this and you won't go far wrong in racking up some posts and some ''thank-yous' at the same time!

One should not be concerned with post count.

I'd be more inclined to notice someone with less than 10 high quality answers than 1000 random comments.

You are missing the point - try reading so your posts are a response rather than just words.

When you post a blurb every 2-3 minutes - it is clear it's "all about me" and "my link".

You made a lot of posts and many of them were just what we call "one-liners" saying absolutely nothing, i.e. not contributing the the thread.
    e.g.: Great info!
    Thanks, good to know.

and stuff like that - all posted on months old posts without adding anything useful.

Reviving an old post just for the sake of adding "cool, thanks"-type of BS is not something that most members like to see on the main page.

Just go by the golden rule of providing value/help and insight with each and every one of your posts, and you won't go wrong. Now that you know how this forum works, and how it may be different from some of the other forums you've encountered, I'm sure you won't run into this issue again.
