Best Video Syndication / Distribution Methods and Tools?

I know WF members can be the leading edge of what is working so will appreciate if you please share your thoughts and experiences on what you think are the best video tools or software for video syndication.

Do you think it is best to use software on you computer or an online service?

A software that is a semi-auto submitter that can pre-fill info similar to some article and directory submitters could work here.

What would your choice be if you had a lot of videos to distribute?

Which video sites provide anchor text links?

Am looking at Heyspread because they offer an API, though they send to some good sites it is not very many.

Anyone used Jambo Media ?

Traffic Geyser seems to be into way more than video now days and I am only looking for video distribution and syndication.

Would you recommend software like Magic Submitter or similar for this?

    I can't PM yet, so I am replying here. Have you heard of Tubemogul? It's free and has the top places to distribute.

    I only use Youtube. It gets 95%+ traffic anyway. I can annotate easily and add clickable links in the description.

    I think it depends on what market you are in. And also you should try and test.

    I use TubeMogul to syndicate to the different sites - and I wasn't sure how effective it was. So here's what I did, I asked my 10 best customers if they could remember how they found me.

    5 were from Youtube.
    4 were from a combination of the other video sites that Tube Mogul aggregates to.
    the other couldn't remember.

    Now I haven't yet worked out how to take this to a larger sample to make it more meaningful - but what if this figure repeated across the board. That would mean I'd lost 40% of my income just by NOT uploading to TubeMogul first.

    I also tallied my video views and found that 80% of them are on YouTube, and 20% are on the other combined video sites. (those numbers are + or - a couple of percent, they are pretty rough and ready.)

    My advice to anyone is to get started with TubeMogul and track your results. And proceed from there.

    (And yep, I need to work more on tracking and working out what's working).

    Posting to sites other than YouTube has SEO Value for your individual landing pages. Keep in mind that video backlinks from high PR sites carry more weight. As a result, you stand the chance of improving organic search results by videos from multiple sites.
