What is the purpose behind A Micro site..because I'm thinking an getting one for my online business but i don't know how it's going to benefit me..

    A micro site typically focuses on a single keyword phrase, or a few that are very closely related in a particular way.

    Micro site is just a marketing term for a website that has only a few pages. It used to be that the "in" term was minisite. Pretty soon it might be nano site.

    If your business can focus on one particular keyword, then it might be good for you to do this. But if it does not, then you might be better off with a more all-inclusive site.

    Yes it makes it easier to rank for one particular keyword. I have a few of these.
