How much should I charge for this?

Ok so I have a new product coming out. It is a WP plugin that locks your website until they like/share your website on Facebook. The plugin also comes with a Twitter option where they have to tweet about your website to unlock. There is a timer on the widget that the user can set to any time they wish.

The package also comes with the Javascript version so it can be used on non Wordpress websites.

Around how much should I charge and more importantly, what would YOU pay for this?

So what about those people who arrive at your website and do not have Twitter or Facebook? You just lose all those people or what happens?

If I were going to sell something like this then I would first install it on a website, track it's progress, and have real stats to show buyers to prove the thing works. As I say, I would be too worried about the people I would be turning away though.

I also don't know that forcing people to share something they have not already seen is really that good an idea? I would much prefer something that pops up when they are leaving asking them to share it if they enjoyed it. It's less obtrusive and makes more sense.

BTW if I am not mistaken doesn't this FREE plugin being given away in the War Room do the same type of thing you are suggesting: http://www.warriorforum.com/war-room...wordpress.html

WillR. The plugin is different than the one that you have posted. It does not 'force' the user to like or share your website. It simply prompts them to do it. If they don't want to, they can wait 30 seconds etc

      Hey, Matt.

Interesting idea for a plug-in. It could become very popular.

I'd suggest you split test at $27, $37, and $47 price points to see what converts the best for you.

Ahh, so that's what I'm after. That appears more sensible to me because those who are not on Facebook or Twitter can still access your website?

Exactly If you don't want a timer counting down, you can set to no timer and just have a close button!
