Need Feedback on My Sales Page...Will You Help?

Hi everyone,

After checking out ifreelance and getafreelancer, I've decided to simply offer my copywriting services on my own website. Seems like a real pain in the you know what to work through them.

I've written a sales page but I would really love an unbiased opinion on how it looks and what it says.

Is it too "wordy" or "sales-y"? Does it get to the point fast enough? Are my rates too high? Too low? Am I missing anything?

    Anyways, I took a look at your site, and my suggestion would be to actually remove most of the copy, get straight to the point, explain what you offer and for what price.

    I would definately put more emphasis on getting people to check out your articles at ezine... that's your best selling point imo.

    That should be 'above the fold' ... something the visitor sees immediately without having to scroll...

    I would cut it down to something like this:

    "Need a web content provider?

    Are you launching a blog or website but don't have the writing skills needed to get it off the ground? Or maybe you want to start article marketing but you don't have time to write original articles to submit to the article directories?

    If so, please consider hiring me to write your articles for you."

      HI Jared,

      Thanks for that very helpful advice. Since I'm a writer, I do tend to go on and on before getting to the point unless I have someone over my shoulder to tell me to stop it! See what I mean? lol

      I'll make those changes and hopefully report back some good news.

      Any comments or opinions about my rates? Kinda cheap, I know, but since I'm just starting out, I thought this might encourage people to try me out until I establish my rep.
