What do I do with my sandboxed sites?

I have a lot of my sites sandboxed, possibly due to scrapebox overdoing (beware!)

What is more convenient: Try to get them out of the sandbox through adding many more articles and more high PR sites Backlinks or do I use that time for making up new sites (avoiding the SB methods)and leaving the sandboxed ones alone (sooner or later they would come back reloaded)?

    In many places I mentioned that its not good to use automated systems specially for SEO, anyhow now you can make quality links to your site and wait. later maybe after 7 or 8 months possibly your site will be out from sandbox.
