Cheapest Leads For Your Biz...

Hey guys! So A few days ago I put up a new fan page on Facebook to test it out and see what all the fuzz is about. Last night a did some finishing touches on it and ran some PPC to promote my page. This morning I checked my aweber account and got 4 new leads from that page. Here are my stats:

49,611 impressions /57 clicks /0.115% CTR /$2.08 spent /leads=4

I have never done PPC before, facebook is the only one I've ever done. So I don't know if the above numbers are great or not. What do you think? Are these numbers alright or could they be better??

BTW.. Here is the finished product: MY FAN PAGE.

Forcing someone to "like" your page is making them go through an extra step. Extra steps reduce conversions which could hurt the amount of leads you're receiving.

Also, if this is a long term thing consider purchasing some fans for your Facebook page on Fiverr or from another site. It's worth the investment since it will add social proof to the page.

If a page has a lot of fans, it builds confidence and people will be more willing to trust you and optin.

Yes I do have a opt-in form on the fan page itself. So yes, people have to click the "like" button for the info to appear. That's where they became leads. I feel that if they do take that extra step, they will become a better quality lead. I understand that I will have less opt-in rate, but will also help weed out the ones that are just curious.

I think your numbers could be higher. When I used to use and PPC we figured out a way to improve results and get 5% to 10% CTR. On top of that we were sitting in position 1 and paying less than other advertisers in position 5 or worse (I know this because we had direct competition with people we worked with and they wanted to know how we got such a good CTR, position and price.

The key to Adwords is to use the keywords the Google WANTS you to use. For example take your main keyword and do research to see the other "related keywords" in Google.

Another good way to see if you are using Adwords correct is to look at Quality score (Not sure if Google still displays this or not). If you dont have the highest quality score, improvements can be made.

Im not sure if you have used Google and I have never used Facebook PPC but I do know on Google a position 1 sponsored ad should get at least a 2% CTR or something is not right.
