The Simplest Way To Post A PowerPoint Presentation To Youtube

Most of us understand that video marketing is a powerful medium to build lists and ultimately sell our products.

But we're often limited by the fact that we don't have camcorders. If we have them - at times we don't know how to shoot videos and reduce their size so that we can upload them to youtube.

Here is what I do - and it is really paying off.

I do powerpoint presentations and load them to youtube afterwards. Please print

This is what you'll need;

- Your computer must have Micrsoft Powerpoint(2000) or the latest
- Windows Movie Maker


After making your Powerpoint slides and saving the powerpoint presentation the usual way, here is the trick that you want to pay attention to;

- Go to File Menu
- Select "save as'
- From the drop down list, where it says "Save as type" select
"JPEG File Interchange Format"
- A question will pop up which says "Do you want to export every slide
in the presentation or only the current slide?"
- Click on "Every Slide"

- Another pop up will appear which says " Each slide in your presentaion has been
saved as a separate file in the folder
- Click ok

Now open your windows movie maker

- Click on File and click on "Import into Collections"
- Go to the location where your JPEG pictures of your
Powerpoint slides are located
- Select all your JPEG pictures
- Click Import
- The JPEG files will be saved as Slide 1, Slide 2
etc... in the sequence from Powerpoint
- Now all your JPEG files should be in the center of your screen
- Click on each individual JPEG
- And drag to the storyboard
- Then you can narrate if you like or add sound
- Once you're done Click on File and "save movie file"
as file type "wmv"
- Upload to youtube and use your keywords in the title of the video

For those of you who use Camtasia you can also simply record yourself speaking your preentation through a microphone, while you scroll through the Powerpoint presentation that you created as Camtasia has a Powerpoint plugin/addon which makes this extremely simple.
