Spam Assassin inconsistent?
Hi guys,
I have scheduled a broadcast yesterday in Aweber promoting an affiliate link and got a 0.3 spam rating score.
Today, I decided to remove the single word "new" from the subject line. When I saved it, the spam score became 2.3! The reason they indicated is that the url I'm using is part of a UIRBL blacklist.
So I then changed back my email subject line and added the word "new" again, exactly like the previous email with the spam rating of 0.3. But even after doing so, the score remained at 2.3.
I asked Aweber support why this is so, and she says she cannot say for certainty why this is happening because they're using a 3rd party service (spam assassin).
Anyone else has a similar experience?
