Paypals, 2 Linked accounts? is that a bad thing?

so I have a really old Paypal account (5 years old), and a newer one (1 year old)

Both were set up with the same address

so paypal would have linked the accounts, right?

Are there any negatives of linked accounts?
(neither of them are bad, or anything, and both working fine, and have been verified, by different banks - one done 5 years ago, and one recently)

is there any negatives of linked accounts? or do they keep an extra eye on your accounts?

in the basis of using one of them for RAP Payments.

I have had two accounts for years and no complaints so I guess you can.

Keep in mind that a lot of people use different Paypal accounts for home and business use, so I doubt Paypal looks really strongly into this.

I have had trouble with Paypal in the past so I suggest you need to keep a close eye on things. Their customer service in my view is not great.

It really depends on why you have 2 separate accounts. I have had 3 in my life. For each of the 3 countries I have lived and worked in while using paypal. So for currency reasons I had multiple accounts.

It IS smart to have separate personal and business accounts as a way to keep from mixing your finances between the two. As an independent worker you want to try to keep your taxes as simple as possible.

For as far as I know and understand from Paypal's TOS you are allowed maximum two paypal accounts. One personal account, and one premier/business.

      My understanding too...

Are they setup like this? If not, you may want to consider why you have two accounts and verify WITH PayPal if you are good to go.

Honestly, you'll get some good opinions here, but no one can speak for PayPal - we don't work there.

Not trying to be a jerk, just saying - we can't speak for their risk department, so I would hate to see you walk away with a false sense of security only to have your accounts frozen.

      All success,
