Simple tip to people who are flipping sites

If you are into flipping business and owning lots of domains, I have something that might help you a little bit.... Most of the people like me who are flipping websites owns couple of dozens of domains, or even more. Since these are new domains, it is always a little bit hard to rank.... and not to mention we cannot work on multiple sites at a time....

So what if you have 50 domains and working only in 5 sites every month and selling them after a month or 2? What are you going to do with the rest of your domains? Are you parking them somewhere else?

I own around 78 domains at a time and my inventory is always maintained and should not be lower than 50. We already knew age is a big factor when ranking a site so don't ask me why I register and maintain domain inventory. Right after I register a domain, I pick a free host, park my domain, install a wordpress blog, and post a single spinned article. So all of my domains are actually online and some of them are even indexed by google. When the time comes that I need to load the real content and transfer them to my own hosting, it is really easy to rank...

Don't let your domains get rotten in your default DNS... host them to free hosts and let google find them while you are busy working with sites you are about to sell.... There are hundreds of free hosts out there.. Just type "free cpanel hosting" on google......

Simple tip, but proven effective..... hope it helps...

So you are monetizing only by Flipping. Do you make good money? If yes, it's good. If not, then would it be good to build good sites which make you money for rest of your life.

Why would I want to sell a site and not making money? Does not make any sense to me....

Flipping is just one of my online activities. Of course you need to monetize the sites you are flipping... No one would buy it if there is no income.... What I am saying is, don't let your domain dead in the eyes of google.. park it with content do that it will be indexed.. Whether you want to monetize it or not, it's your choice...

I maintain totally different sites from what I am flipping... they are authority sites, not nicge blogs....

    Thanks man

I have a few domains that I bought (usually when someone posts a 1 dollar go daddy coupon code - ha ha) which are just sitting there

Time to crank out some simple blogs

I find if you have a Google news feed on a simple blog (on whatever your niche is) they get picked up by the Big g pretty fast

Or you can take those 78 domains change your dns on all of them in one click, then upload all of the to whypark in one click. You`ll get indexed quicker, not to mention all your sites are set up with content and monetized. Then you can add your own content if you want and set up different apps....

10 minutes to do it that way.

Good idea but I still prefer putting my own content for I am linking some of my sites there even just temporary.... But for bulk domains like hundreds, whypark is advisable...

      Aaron,
Good additional tip to what Adie posted. I was recently looking over my own domain inventory and realized that I have a lot of domains doing nothing whiel I work on other sites.

At a minimum I'm going to throw up a page for each site with some form of monetization.

Was not aware of WhyPark so that looks like it might be the answer.

      Thanks,
      Tim

Good points Adie. I have many domains, whenever I do keyword search and I see a potential keyword to set up as a website I get the domain name in the hope to do something with it later. While waiting I do as you say and set up a wordpress blog with a article, but I also put a block of adsense on it and a couple of affiliate products in the sidebar. This way I am able to make some money with the domains while I decide what I want to do with them.

Installing wordpress thru fantastico and adding something could only take 10 to 15 minutes at most or less so go ahead... Registering a domain is always tempting when we discover something interesting..

Why don't you just host it all with a hosting provider that allows unlimited domains like HostGator instead of on free hosting?

You missed the idea of this thread..... Hosting multiple domains in one server is not good for seo... I hope you understand...don't make things complicated...

If you can do all the work at the same time then go ahead... The idea is to let the rest of the domains getting indexed with the least possible work while you are working on your active sites.

Why is hosting multiple domains on one server not good for SEO? I have about heaps of domains hosted on the same account and many rank high on the search engines for highly competitive keywords.

          What I do is:
I register my domains (private) with 4 different registrars.
          I use 2 different hosting.
I know big "G" doesn't like domains using links from the same
          owner, registrar and hosting.
