Exchanging blog posts instead of links?
We're in eCommerce and one of our competitors is moving up on us in Google organic search. The only change we can see is that in the last 6 months they have gone from 1500 inbound links to over 9,000 with almost all of these new links coming from blog posts in PR5 blogs like this: 365days365plays[dot]com
We write for our own blog, but our competitor has a blog that looks much like this '365days' blog with lots of the same types of articles linking back to other sites.
Keyword-rich articles with relevant anchor links is waaay better than exchanging single links...
We have searched around but cannot find out what this is called or how to join in... anyone have any ideas?
