It appears that Amazon is being very stubborn about the sales tax issue. Closing their distribution center in Austin is a rather definitive statement.

Also read that sales tax bills are being debated in the houses of NM and CT, in addition to what the governor wll do in IL. This could be an interesting year for the Amazon affiliate program.

  If I were an Amazon affiliate from Texas ... lets just say my Amazon account would have a different mailing address ASAP. Otherwise, don't complain if down the road Amazon terminates your affiliate account.
