Membership Site/paid Forum Question

INTERNET MARKETING

Is there a resource for starting a paid forum or discussion group with a monthly fee, where the service tracks payments and membership. I am thinking of trying this as a business model based on giving a free ebook away but getting people to join and be supported in there efforts to follow the system and have access to the author. Any ideas are appreciated. Thanks

Joomla has that capability, with the community builder and a few plugins you can create a paid community site with a forum.

I have used and still use a CMS that covers all you ask. It is a very comprehensive system and manages payments, subscriptions and is perfect for your plans with digital downloads. The support and tutorials are first class. Weekly training is also provided.
