Hey guys!

Do you think it is a good idea for me to upload an ebook (not mine, but with my affiliate link) to torrent sites to get maximum exposure.

Has it really worked for anyone?

Which torrent sites should I upload to?

Your help would be really appreciated

    @dvduval: It is in the IM niche.

    And yeah, it does have viral attributes.

    @webfeat: I mean that I want to upload the ebook to torrent search engines so other people can download them via their torrent clients. I hope it makes sense!

    I have seen many internet marketers do it and frankly saying it works but the main condition is the ebook you are going to promote must have demand to the visitors.But remember the whole process is illegal an unethical.

      Torrent sites are neither illegal nor unethical.

      HOW YOU USE THEM MAY BE, but the site itself, and the concept thereof, is not.

      They are like hammers, the hammer does not care if you build a house for the homeless or smash in a skull. It's a tool, like Money... It's how you use the tool that determines the legality and ethics.

      OP, If you have giveaway rights to the eBook in question, there is no issue, as you are giving away the eBook as your rights indicate you are allowed to do. You can do this for an eBook you wrote, as its your intellectual property and you can do as you see fit with it.

      If you're doing this with someone else's eBook and you do not have giveaway right, then yes, shuvo, it is an illegal use of a legal sharing site, and OP, you would get in some trouble.

    @shuvo: Thanks for your reply, but why is it illegal and unethical when the author of the ebook has granted full permission to his affiliates to distribute the ebook in any manner possible and also the torrent directories generally have no problems with useful ebooks.?

    But, is there any single mega-directory of torrents where I could submit the ebook, or do i have to individually submit to directories like isohunt, demonoid, etc....

    I am sorry to ask a silly question, but I havent done this before, so naturally I am a bit confused.
