I've heard some people talk about MailChimp (or something like that.) I think they're supposed to be free up to 500 subscribers.

Then you need Aweber - that's who I use. Very easy.

Actually mailchimp's free version is for up to 2,000 subscribers and up to 12,000 mails per month. I agree, though, that aweber is the better way to go.

Thanks - guess I should've looked that up before I replied since I've never used them. And yes, Aweber's the only way to go as far as I'm concerned.

Hi, you simply need a mailing list or Auto-responder script and form on your site. I'll give you one free if you PM me. Your host needs to support PHP.

You'll also need 1 MySQL database, Instructions on how to install included and I'll even give you support to install it if you have a little patience as I am a very busy and active individual. You'll own it for life instead of renting it!

There is also Freeautobot if you can't install the script on your host. Here's the link:
    http://www.freeautobot.com/

    Does this answer your question?

Don't start something that you may kick yourself for later.

A lot of people look for free sites that give them 500 or so free subscribers, but when they outgrow that they find themselves having to manage lists at more than one place. Aweber is used by more IMers than anybody else for a reason. Maybe you should rethink things and go with what you already know.

DO NOT USE MAILCHIMP, THEY DO NOT LIKE AFFILIATE MARKETERS, AND THEY WILL DELETE YOUR ACCOUNT AND ERASE YOUR LIST WITHOUT WARNING

Leads Leap gives you a free script auto responder so you can keep your list. I read you might not be able to use the email contacts outside of aweber. With the script you can edit fields for a double opt in mailing list and also landing page, sell your products from a web page, if you want. You can setup followup email letters automatically on given days, week, month. It is good for internet marketing and just a plain email list.

If you need to create more then one list then infinite responder can do that. It is open source so is also free.

Both are easy to setup on your hosting site server but if you need me to do that I will for free. The authors also do that, but LeadsLeap will charge you $30 and Infinite Responder $60. You will need web hosting and one SQL database. Both come with installation instructions. I can supply you with whatever you need, even cheap web hosting with free installs like Wordpress etc.

    FREE LeadsLeap List Builder Script.

When you sign up you also get many free e-books. It is FREE to sign up and you can get leads for your list from there also.

MailChimp do not allow affiliate marketing. Try iContact, they are also very good and your initial 250 or 60 days happens to be free (whichever comes first)... Or GetResponse. Hope it helped.
