WHERE to start?-

Hi warrior,

Many of you may already know if you have read one of my old threads but I'm now starting out in Internet Marketing as I've tried before and failed. Now my head is clear and I don't plan on giving up at all, I'm going to make it this time.

Just a quick run through of my progress, I am accepted to MaxBounty and started a campaign about a week ago about getting a free iPad. Each conversion is $1.40. I gave it a week, made a few YT videos just to see how it converts before I waste ALL my time trying to make something work that doesn't.

It is now a week later and I only have 2 conversions off of 3 youtube videos that have only about 30 - 40 combined views.

My big thing about this is, I don't have a website and I can't see this type of offer working with a website since it is only an Email Submit. I'm currently linking the offer straight to the youtube video. I'm seeing no results right now and it's very depressing. It also seems like video marketing and article marketing are the only type of traffic sources that I can use for this type of offer, and this type of marketing is VERY slow.

I was wondering if CPA is maybe not the right path for me? Would there be any better options for beginners?

    CPA can work for some people. Its hard if you can't buy traffic from somewhere. Conversions from rankings in the SERPS is pretty tough if you have a website.

    YT does get a lot of traffic and lots of people do search on there for things, but I suspect that most of the searching done on YT is for stuff like funny dog videos or epic fails.

    Perhaps it might be more to your advantage to choose Adsense or affilliate marketing of a clickbank product to start with.

    There are a lot of CPA offers, the ones that get a higher conversion rate are often becasue of the sheer amount of traffic that sees those offers. And that kind of traffic most oftern comes from traffic your buy.

      I thought about affiliate marketing before, but what products are good? What should I choose, and where should I begin in Affiliate Marketing? Are there any free guides on the forum about it?

        Well, you are not making any money now. So anything that you do that will make you some income is going to be more than you are getting. So even if you got 2 cents a day from Adsense, that would be more than you are getting.

        I don't think it was your intention to be rude in a post where you are asking for people to help you, but making part of your post bold, putting in an exclamation point and using the imperative form twice (ordering people to continue to reply and to leave their suggestions) sure might come off as looking rude to some people.

          Sorry I wasn't meaning to be rude, There have just been incidents where one person leaves their response and I respond to it, so everybody else stops posting. I was just letting people know that I am still interested and open minded in hearing other peoples responses.

          Also, you didn't answer my questions that I asked you in the reply.

            But the people who did not respond to you before are probably not going to be here now. This is a big forum. I guess it is possible that they are here looking at your post and thinking to themselves, "I am not going to respond" but the odds are against that.

            And for all you know, the one person that might have the answer to your most important question might have joined the forum yesterday and they run into your post here with your commands in CAPS in BOLD and followed by an exclamation point!

            Do you really honestly think this is the way to get people to help you?

            As for your questions, in your OP you posed questions that nobody can answer. How is someone supposed to answer "I am wondering if CPA is not the right path for me? And the answer to there being better options for beginners is more along the lines of "maybe"

            There is no way to answer the other questions either. What products are good? What should I choose? Where do I start? Are there guides?

            Not in a way that will help you much anyway. There are lots of good products. Choose one you like. You start with choosing a mrket and getting a website. There are probably guides if you search for them.

            There are no set rules, there is no one guide that works for everyone. There is no one product to promote. You might even make money with your CPA and video thing if you wait long enough and backlink your video URL.

    There are many other ways to promote CPA offers than just videos. You could write and submit articles to directories. You would want to purchase a domain (a cheap .info would be fine) and forward it to your CPA offer link, as some directories will not allow you to put in direct affiliate type links. Branch out to other CPA offers, running 2-3 campaigns to see which offer converts best for you. Also, Kenster has a great Rags to Riches WSO here about CPA marketing that you may want to check out.

      I actually think I had kensters rags2riches before but it's on my old computer.
      I will try promoting other CPA offers though. It sounds like it's worth a shot. Any idea on which offers I should promote? and Which type of offers have the best conversions with article/video marketing?

    i think that the easiest way to start is to create a simple wp blog and put some adsence in it
    then keep post quality stuff on a daily basis in order to see results in a short while

    Classified ads makes me about 40$/day. Great for beginners.

    If you don’t know what to do, stop and Study. You must learn how to work online instead of making questions. CPA doesn’t work if you don’t get a lot of traffic, and you have to basically use Adwords’ ads in order to send people to your offers. This is not for beginners.

    The best advice I can give you is that you should be a good student here at the Warrior forum and read many posts everyday until you learn what it means to market online. Nobody can answer all your questions in only a few words because you need too much knowledge in order to understand how everything works. Study by reading many lessons in this forum. There are other forums and blogs where you can learn a lot.

    My second advice is that you should start working by using free services first of all, without spending anything, like Blogger blogs, Squidoo lenses and Hub pages. They are only for the beginning of your money-making journey. You should not rely on free platforms in order to make serious money, but they are good for the beginning. They teach you how everything works online and you make some money with them. There are also many people making a lot of money with these free services. However they are dangerous because they don’t belong to you. You have to follow a thousand rules, you may lose your work, etc. Use these services basically for learning.

    Here is a Squidoo lens that teaches you how to create many Squidoo lenses in a short period of time:

    Later you should create a paid Wordpress blog, your own website, etc. But first of all, be a good student, and use free methods for learning, and for making some money. For example, you have to create more than 50 lenses if you want to make real money. With 5 lenses you will only begin to begin… You have to work hard. And Squidoo keeps changing rules, they don’t accept criticism, etc. Use your lenses only for getting adapted to internet marketing without spending your money.

      I think the best way to get the volume of traffic you need to make most CPA offers pay off is through a PPV network like Direct CPV. you generate a list of keywords and a list of urls, load them into a campaign and let it loose, you can get pretty cheap impressions and a lot of traffic. but you need to know how to track whats converting (Prosper 202)so you can disable keywords & url'sthat aren't converting.

    CPA offers can make you good money even for newbies if you are able to promote them OFFLINE. Testing is involved no matter what.
