Hello, I started reading about this after thinking of quitting my job(I was working part-time in a gas station, minimum wage). I just took my leave, because money is not really an issue right now, but I really want to try my hand at IM.

Here's my question : Should I buy a website of Flippa to start? I have 2k$ to spend. My ideal lowest income per day would be 50$.

Hello, There are many different tools online that we can use for FREE that will stop you having to pay large amounts for websites...

wordpress is one that many successful warriors have used and is a great tool as it is free!!

    Have a look into that!

I would suggest learning the ropes before looking into purchasing a website that's already doing well.. because you might accidentally ruin it. Try starting your own website first, and playing around with different IM strategies

Thanks for the answers, will look in wordpress. But still, I know that if I have absolute no returns whatsoever, I'll get fed up and most likely give up. I just want to see some adsense money coming in, even if it's 10 cents.

Is there good ebooks from warriors that are really good for starters that you would recommend?

What is your knowledge and skill level with SEO, IM, marketing, domaining, affiliate marketing, etc?

Don't blow your money before you have a good understanding of these things.

My advice is to start with HubPages, for a variety of reasons. One of which is that it is free and will allow you to learn as you go.

Also, keep in mind that almost all of the above require time and effort to build them into a profitable venture.

If you have a good understanding of domaining then you may be able to begin earning income fairly quickly. You can earn income via affiliate marketing within a month typically. Same with IM possibly.

I don't want to discourage you at all. But it is important that you understand that most of what what we do that is successful is not a 'get rich quick scheme', unless we get others to do our work for us...

You've found the right place to begin learning. Warrior Forum is one of the very best resources out there. Just be cautious about what you buy into.

    Hi

I have to agree with tritrain -- he hit the nail on the head

Starting with IM I believe you need to know 3 things, you need to understand what you are doing, then you need to educate yourself and then implement what you have learned.

Money can quickly go if you are not careful what you spend it on, I would also suggest to begin here and look into all the FREE stuff you can get.

There are many people great people on this forum that will be able to help you and it won't cost you a dime!!

      Hi Folks,
      I'm brand new here.
      New to IM.

I've been working with the Chris Farrell system. Seems good so far. I have 2 websites up and just getting into promotion. From the post, above it looks like Werna has been going through it too.

I also got scammed by the Rapid Income Creator program. I'm probably not the first. I shut down the PPV adds after a few days. Didn't lose too much on that though. The frustrating thing is I've been trying to cancel and amm not getting any replies whatsoever. Time to call the CC company.

      Lesson learned.

I'll try not to fall for these schemes in the future but it sure hard to tell what's legit and what's not. There sure seems to be a lot of vultures out there.

      Cheers
      Patrick

Not for me tho, it would be retarded to spend that much with not enough knowledge. I knew that already, the point of the whole thread was to ask if I should buy a small website and try things out, see what works etc.

  • Hi,

I would advice you to learn everything you can about conversion. It all comes down to how you convert a prospect to buyer.

    Everything else can be outsourced.

Do you have any ideas on what to sell or what your ideal niche is? If your niche is something you know about it´s much easier to hit their emotional triggers to make them buy from you.

Don't buy a website, most of them won't generate any sales. You have to start from scratch.

With $2K you can buy a website that can generate up to $5-6/day at flippa.com, if you plan to earn $50 a day, you need to invest a lot more.

I guess even if I buy a website I won't know how to run it.

There's so much ebooks in here that promise 200$ a day quickly. Is there any portion of truth in any of them? Is there good reputable ones that I can check out, maybe not for the MAKE FAST MONEY factor, but to get more knowledge about IM?

I would suggest you start on Hubpages or Squidoo. Those are free to join. Read their terms and understand them.

Read the main marketing forum here, and spend $37 to join the War Room. You'll get a lot of great information there too--even much more than the main marketing forum.

Start for free first, you can monetize both the sites given to you above. Learn the marketing, backlinking and so forth here. Once you learn how to do this and start earning, then spend the time and money to get a website and hosting.

Make sure you take good notes from the more established warriors here. There's a lot to learn, but you can get started with simple steps, then build on that.

It is unwise to think that because you have a few dollars to spend that you need to spend it to start.

You need to spend some of that money on training before you do anything. You can buy a web site but you are not going to know what to do with it.

No, create an information product yourself, create a web site, then drive traffic to it using SEO and other methods.

I think you can make more money by following this path rather than getting a Flippa site. You inherit other peoples problems that way. They are selling them for a reason.
