Hi I am new to IM and will like to ask you guys this. If IM is a degree program, which modules should be studied first and which later on?

Modules like SEO, Copywriting, etc.

Perhaps, at least for me, the most important part is research.

    Find the hungry crowd.

If you want to learn the basics, the best free course I know of, that's hands on too, is the challenge by Ed Dale.

The fact is though, in IM, there are very many different models, often within themselves.

You need to decide what you like doing, what you're best at and learn about it.

...then, instead of moving on to the next course, take action.

I'm interested also, where can I find this course by Ed Dale?
      Here on the WarriorForum?

No, just Google "The challenge" or "Ed Dale". I believe the URL's challenge.co, not .com

It's good, all you'll need is a domain and hosting. For beginners it gives you a good overview.

I think you should define where your skills lye, and work around that area first.

When I first started out I was too occupied with all the resources available to just get on with it. My advice to you would be decide upon your business model, and STICK TO IT. Many times have I thought of an idea, started it, then start reading WF or something only to either waste my time researching something else, or starting another project in which case they will both not get finished.

I hope you see my point. Basically, as the WF says; TAKE ACTION!

    Hi Yunie

For a begginer I would recommend you getting a PLR Product. Im naturally biased towards them but I find them perfect , because usually everything is all done for you you just have to work on the traffic.
So once you learn a good method for you to get traffic then you have that lesson down and you should have a small list aswell.
Then you can move on to things like product creation copywriting affiliate systems.
But by having a product first off it will give you something stable to work on.

    Thanks

    James

I think you need to study them together. They are all inter-related topics. You can't do much with isolated bits of information.

Yeah I want to study all but don't know which to start first. Like perhaps there is some progression thing in IM where you go from Module 1 to advance module 1 then to module 2, things like this.

But from the replies, it seems like it is better that I study different methods and decide which is best for me.

I would sign up for the War Member. I was in the same position a few years back and I found most of the beginners resource I needed in the War Room. It's best to play around with a free blog and see where you go from there.

I completed the challenge, about 2-3 weeks ago, was the best course I could have ever undertaken. It was really laid out well, simple & most importantly ---> IT WORKS!
I didn't know squat 6 weeks ago when I first started, now I have my first profitable website, all because of The Challenge.
It will teach you the basics of everything you need to know, plus a bit of elaborate teachings on specific areas such as backlinking and building a website.
    Definitely worth doing!

    I would say you break in to 4 parts in this order;

    - Product Creation (research, creating info products etc)
    - copy writing (sales letter, emails)
    - List Building (traffic generation)
    - Finding JV partners (affiliates to see for you)

Follow this structure and you should get somewhere in your IM journey

Look, you can learn this now are waste months trying stuff that does not work.

Its "Traffic and Profit system" 3 steps! Drive traffic to a high converting squeeze page and monetize the thank you page.

Most Marketers start out building a web site first. I think that is a big mistake. You only need one page and that is a squeeze page. The web site and the products come later after you have some subscribers
