New Domain: I know I'm Missing A Step

so i've just gotten a new domain name and added it to my cpanel account and enabled the wordpress for it. but when i type in the url, it cannot be found.

what step am i missing?

    When you purchased your hosting you would have received a welcome email with your logon details and also other information such as nameservers.

    Now, take these nameservers and go to where you registered the domain name. Under the domains configuration you sould see an option to use the registrars nameservers, or your own. Change the nameservers to the ones you got in your welcome email, wait up to 24 hours and the domain will be live.
