Hello,
I want to know, is there anyone who have been promoting seasonal products yet achieve success, that is you make sales all year long? I have mistakenly bought a domain name for a product which is rather seasonal in nature and wonder whether it is still useful to make sales apart from the seasons. Thanks

from my experience seasonal does work as long as you have the site set up at least 3 months before the season starts. Usually I make a killing during the season which makes up for the slow time. Hope this helps

During the off season consider promoting liquidation products and definitely work to keep your site ranked and build a list of subscribers.

Key point - most retail outlets plan up to a year ahead for seasonal products. Amazon sells for example Christmas and other seasonal products all year long. Have you tried targeting retail stores for related store fixtures and supplies?

Seasonal niches can do very well. You will have a lot of competition, but there are so many micro-niches that you can usually find one.

The nice thing is that you have a few months to before the season starts.

If you can, try to find niches within each season. That way you have pretty steady income year-round.

It is good for expert internet marketer but not for newbie because seasonal product are seasonal product and there is nothing called long term in seasonal affiliate business.

For expert I will say yes.. but newbie i wil say no...to start

Thanks for all the replies, but my "problem" is the niche that I am entering is mainly for winter season! I am living in the other part of the world where winter is only on TVs, and have no clue how seasons can affect or increase my business. Guess I have made a mistake....

PS: After I purchased the domain name, it's only then that I remember to check google insights for confirmation! Too much to remember when doing research, bound to make mistake.

In many parts of the United States winter last 4 or months so you should see most of your sales during that time but could still make some during the rest of the year. Winter is a lot better seasonal period than a single day event, i.e. Valentines Day or Halloween.

As long as you researched the niche well and there is a demand and you know how to create content for it and drive traffic, it's not a mistake. I've never been deer hunting but I have a site in that niche.

You can hire a writer to research and create the content for you... put everything in place so your site is ready to cash in next winter.

I have a site buterflybush.net that I use amazon on and do pretty well with during the spring I average 100 to 200 sales a month. Of course it drops way of in the winter months.

NOW is the time to promote Amazon summer products. NOW. Don't wait for spring or early-middle summer.
