Whole Process of Affiliate Marketing!!!!

What i know about the whole process about affiliate marketing is

1)Choose a good product to promote
2)Find Good Keyword
3)Create a website or blog
4)write a keyword loaded content on our site
5)And, write articles to drive traffic....

Is it enough or should i need to do something else..

suggestions are welcome!!!!!

    hey there rohan, to be quite honest that in theory sounds easy, but unless you pick a really good long tail keyword, it will be extremely difficult to rank for. Don't get me wrong that would be a good business model, especially with a bunch of articles linking back to it, just make sure you can rank for the keyword or you will waste months trying.

    Many affiliate programs will let you join them only if your site has at least 100 unique visitors per day. So you should be pretty sure that you can make your site rank that high.

      Hey,

      Well obviously throughout all of that you would of course
      be building an optin list I would assume.

      So you could take the articles you create, compile them into a
      free pdf report (again assuming they are valuable content)

      Then offer that report as the free gift for people who optin to your
      list.

      Again, you could take your articles and turn them into videos, then
      submit them to youtube / other video sites for some more free traffic
      too.

      There are a ton of ways to get free traffic online, article submission
      is just one of many.
