One Product Amazon Associates Success?

I've heard of people making thousands from numerous sites put together with just one product? Is this possible and how? You can get a domain with a high volume keyword which boosts your ranking? Numerous backlinks? But they say content is king - so how many different types of content could you come up with for just one product?

Look forward to your opinion!

I wouldn't think it would be good. That's putting all your "eggs in one basket", as they say.

I've found it's best to diversify.

Just one product? I don't think so...

I got some nice numbers but I work on niche based products, so my customer return to my website (I create a niche newsletter with tips about that specific niche and sent them good deals on products I think they will be interested on it).

Who is he? and it depends which t shirt

It would be marvellous if we could all find just one Amazon product to market, build several sites around and earn good money from, but the reality is that it would probably take umpteen websites testing different niches to find that one goldmine product, then sods law the product would get pulled so having your eggs in one basket would be a mistake.

You can't use a product or brand name for a domain unless you want legal problems so you have to go for niche keyword rich domain names, that being so you might as well target several products and linking products in a niche and through doing that you will find for yourself the best money makers that you might want to build more sites around, but when a product is outdated at least you can find one to take it's place within your niche if you haven't gotten too specific.

I remember hearing about a guy that got the occassional nice commiss, not from the product he discussed, but other products the purchaser bought after clicking on his link.
