Yep it is done in After Effects , most prob would have been a template from either Drop Drop or Video Hive , I have been using typography for a few months now.

If anyone thinks that After Effects is hard ! It really isn't you just need to spend some time and play with it , here is one I did and is great to do as well

Remember that there are some great tutorials that do come with the templates when you buy them,so Its just like follow the leader of sorts

9 out10 times you get it right BUT if you make a mistake using After Effects
It may take up to 2-3 hours before you find it ! due to the rendering speed of your computer/laptop)

after fx.. quite fiddly, have dabbled with it, much steeper learning curve than learning to edit video.

maybe get an outsourcer (who owns the actual program which is expensive) to make it for you

There would seem to be several high-end software programs being used here. At a guess, I would say Adobe After Effects, and most likely Adobe Photoshop too. The whole thing was probably edited together on something like Avid.

It's certainly been tightly scripted and the audio has been recorded using professional voice-over artistes. From the audio quality, I'd say it was recored and mixed in a studio, too. This isn't an amateur, do-it-yourself production.

i also had the same thought when watching product launch videos. wanted to make my own but realized it will take time to learn, like adobe after effects. however, it is another skill to invest in as it becomes in demand. outsourcing would be cool too. i found some really good bumper videos made for just $5. i'm sure you can negotiate a price if anyone wanted a video just like the ones on top. try fiverr or better yet post your need for a sales video like that and pretty much a warrior has the skill to do it.

It's made in After Effects, and costs somewhere from $100 up to $500 per MINUTE, with professional script, voice-over and animations. Definitely not something "do-it-yourself", if you want a cool video, of course.

It's a number of video editing, flash, and graphics effects tools.
I was going to list them out, but I see from one of the posts in this thread, there's an example that has a good list of tools already. Here they are: [Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere and Toon Boom Animate]
I've seen or used all of those tools except toon boom animate. It's amazing what you can do with the right software tools! - And I guess even more amazing when they're used by people who know what they're doing, ha ha.

Further to my earlier post, reading this thread about kinetic typography video inspired me to have a go at creating one myself. It doesn't have the production values of the OP (I don't have Adobe After Effects), but I don't think it's too bad for a few hours of tinkering around .
