Hey guys,

i hope you can help me out. On Friday I'm going to realease my product. I'm going to sell it on clickbank and wanted to give my customers a 2-week free trial. So they basically signup and pay nothing and they get billed the price in 2 weeks.

Right now I'm searching on clickbank, but I can't find a free trial in the standard product features. In the Recurring billing Products is a minium of 2 bills, so this is not working either. What can i do?

I'm sorry, but this is my first product and my first product launch. I don't want to call this off, because I've already emailed my list about it.

I'm also happy about suggestions like something similiar like a free trial.

thanks

  • I think clickbank requires you to bill with a minimum amount, something like $4.95 per month or so. The best option you're going to have in my opinion and people will see the value. Also, this is going to put buyers on your list (you are segmenting your lists, right?) as opposed to the completely free trial.

I have purchased things on Clickbank with a trail. What they do is wait and charge the product in 2 weeks if the person hasn't cancelled. Call Clickbank and They'll walk you through the particulars. memory serves corrected Clickbank did charge me $1.00 then the price after the trail period.

Sorry, after re-reading my post I didn't understand it myself. Not sure where my thoughts were. I tried to express exactly that, clickbank doesn't allow you to offer a free trial but a discounted one (like 2marketnow explained").

I don't know either where that option exists because I didn't launch a recurring billing product on Clickbank yet but your best bet is definitely to call clickbank support (not email them because it can take a while until you receive an answer from them).
