Can I Choose Affilaite Products?

If I find an online store I like and they have an affiliate program, do most of them let YOU choose which products to promote on your site or do THEY decide which products they want you to promote?

    Depends. Amazon allows you to promote individual products, while others only offer banners. You can always contact the affiliate directly for more info.

    It depends on the store, and what materials they provide to their affiliates. Some only have banners for their main site, while others offer links to every item they carry. Powells books is a good example of this. You can create a link to any book, or section of books, or the whole store.

    It's worth checking out what the ones you like offer, but be prepared to find alternate vendors if need be.
