Creating side-by-side video interviews: Skype or ooVoo?

I want to produce an online show with split screen video interviews. I'm using a PC, and the two solutions I've found so far are:

1. Using Skype and recording with Pamela or Camtasia
2. Using oovoo.com and paying 10 bucks a month to have the videos recorded automatically

I don't mind the 10 bucks, so cost isn't the factor. What's important to me is:

* ease of use for my interviewees. I want a no-hassle experience for them. oovoo provides an e-mail link that brings interviewees right in, which I like
* call quality

Any recommendations for or against either option. Any other options you've tried?

Thanks....

    Could you use camtasia with Oovoo? I haven't used it before, but could that be an option? If so, I would prefer the way Oovoo splits the screens as opposed to the "nesting" of Skype.

    At the 10 dollar level, Oovoo records the videos for you, so there's no need for camtasia. I'm thinking that would provide a better quality recording than using a screen recorder.

    I suppose you're right, for $10 it might be worth the quality. I think Oovoo also lets you video chat with multiple people whereas Skype doesn't. I'd say go with Oovoo.

    Interesting thread. I've been wondering the same thing. Not happy with Camtasia, so I'll look into oovoo. Thanks

    Agreed, here. If Oovoo will do the recording, there is no need to potentially decrease your video quality by using Camtasia.
