Purchase Whois protection on sites built to sell?

Hey fellow warriors, I have recently started a project of building and selling adsense sites. So far I have built about 30 over the past 4-6 weeks. I have been buying all these domains without whois private protection because it really added up with all the domains. My question is that, is it needed for these small adsense sites if you plan to sell them? Will buyers be put off if your site doesnt have whois protection? I am going to be buying some more domains tonight so I want to know if I should get whois on them. Thanks

Some people like whois and some people don't. I like it because in the transfer, Big G only knows there was an IP or nameserver change. Not an owner change.

But some of the buyers like transparency and want to see that you own the domain before you buy it. Places like Flippa have you verify ownership. Personally I think it is better for the buyer if you have whois.

I think we can protect who.is where we bought domain.
Domain control panel has options to lock the personal details including mail and everything.

Namecheap give you the Whois protection for the 1st year for free, but you can cancel it if you want (or you buyers want) at this way you don't lose a penny.

I don't think so there will be any effect on your sale. While selling on flippa, you verify your phone number, you verify the website etc etc so whois doesn't matter. However, I like to use it on my websites just to protect info. from being public. Nothing else.

Namecheap.com gives it to you free the first year, so that part wouldn't cost you extra. I doubt if people care much one way or the other. If they want it, they can get it as soon as they transfer it to their account.

Edit: Must be some synchronized typing and posting going on here, the same comment and nearly the same times.
