This is actually some kind of rip off from another thread but I would like to change this a little.

What are the 3 IM products that changed your life when
1) you are a newbie
2) you are an advanced player

This can be software, ebook, services, whatever.

Thought this might help members who are faced with the thousands of IM products in the net.

  I agree with ernie, once i stuck to one thing the money started to roll in. My first product bought was an adsense guide don't remember the name though.

  When I started out in IM back in 2004 I got four products:
  
  - How to write an ebook in 7 days by Jim Edwards
  - Public Domain Riches from Yanik Silver
  - Carbon Copy Marketing from Mike Filsaime
  - The Insider Secrets to Marketing Your Business on the Internet (2004) by Corey Rudl
  
  The first three are the three that changed my life because I actually consumed them and took action immediately and implemented what I learned!
  
  The fourth one looks really nice and big and glossy but I've dipped into it's many pages only a couple of times and it sits there on my bookshelf in near mint condition.
  
  Using what I learned in those first three I created and launched a product that, while not a roaring success, was profitable from the get go and still makes money (in an evolved form) today - about six years later.
  
  Enthusiastic after my first success I plunged myself and more time and money into IM than I care to think of and have spent (actually wasted) alot of that time (and money) jumping from one thing to another and trying to learn everything there is to learn. I've bought countless products and not a single one has delivered the value or made an impact on my life like those first three - and it's not the fault of the products (some good, some not) it's just because at the beginning I was focused and acted - I knew nothing so I learned how to do one method and did it. I wasn't distracted by everything else that was out there because I didn't know it existed.
  
  For anyone past the newbie stage, take note of what Ernie said and I wholeheartedly agree - "stick to one damn thing". With regard to making money online, it's the best advice I've ever been given too.

  It's not IM product - but CMS called WordPress Excellent piece of software. Then when you add some good quality content = $$$

Everything I know is made up of thousands and thousands of blog posts, forum posts and everything else such as Im products.

I could never tell you which had impacted my business the most although there was a couple of things that have changed the way I think but it was more free blog posts, than any IM product to be honest.

I have read some excellent IM ebooks over the years and still have the best ones saved to my computer, such I wish to start working on them in the future. Unfortunatly there's only one of me and my time is strickly limited to what I can work on.

Mike Hill is one person I really look up to in IM, and GaryV too for business as a whole.

I'd say my own first 3 products changed everything: it doesn't really matter how much I made with them. What matters is how much i learned about product creation, marketing, sales funnel, partnership... (I've also learned a lot about human nature, just watching my clients and affiliates - but that was just the icing on the cake, LOL)

I've been through a heap of different courses over the years and have found a few internet marketers that constantly over deliver and constantly create top notch courses....I'll give you their names as opposed to the courses as they all have multiple courses that are very good:

Mark Ling
Steve Clayton & Tim Godfrey
Brian Johnson
Adam Short

Like the other guys have said above, find one thing and stick to it...

  That's a really good point. It's not so much about the products but about what you do with them and actually taking action. There are so many IM products out there and many are good and will work and deliver results if the methods are applied.
  
  We all see and hear stories of people succeeding quickly online from a standing start because they took action instead of trying to learn everything and read every ebook and throw themselves into a state of sheer overwhelm and paralysis. They learned one method and took quick action and followed it before they realized how much they DIDN'T know.

  "Money & Power" was a product that definitely had an impact on me....it made me look at things in a way I never had before.
  
  Another Allen Says ebook is up there too...that would be Private Posts Volume 1 (still waiting for Volume 2).
  
  The other one is Google Cash...the very first one....oh man, was it easy to make cash with the simple combination of Adwords + Affiliate programs back then!

Its all about the way you use the information you receive, some people flick through where others will question different methods.

If you see yourself questioning or trying to improve upon information you receive then there is no excuse for not having your own business online!

Nothing give me more advance skill than perpetual traffic formula by Ryan Deiss. I start to make serious money after following it. It is very comprehensive training.
