Outsourcing forum posting to other people a viable traffic stream idea?

Looking at my google analytics I see most of my site views have come from people clicking on my sig from forum posting. I noticed that the more I post is the more hits I get that day (I think anyhow).

I was thinking would getting more people to post on forums with your link in the sig be a good way to increase exposure even more? or would there be a saturation point if on the same forums? I guess there wouldn't be too much point if you just posted yourself on all of the posts on the first page of the forum.

Any other ideas in a similar vein?

    This is a common practice and often used. but if you pay people to do this why don't you use different forums...?
    This way you would not reach the saturation point (if there is one)...
