My Set & Forget Affiliate Income

I want to share a new nice affiliate income I'm making since 3 months ago.

I just go to Expired Domain Search -- ExpiredDomainBoss.com that is a free service for search expired domains and I was looking some domain that includes some backlinks and Google indexed (the tool provide you the info for each domain) but the most important issue here it's the domain include some good keywords on it.

When I mean good keywords I prefer those with high commercial intention rate, so I found a very nice domain for one big artist that include this characteristics and very good search rate.

So I just go to my Affiliate Panel on Amazon and create a link for the main products that include this artist (CD's, Books, Posters, Movies, Tshirts... you name it)

Then I redirect my new domain to that link (using Cpanel) and that's it, some days I make 1 sell, some days no sales but for example yesterday I made 15!

You know, they arrive to Amazon and they purchase all the stuff they need!

You can do the same with products also.

How many set & forget websites I can create? unlimited!

  • I get what you mean sounds more for someone who has capital.

But if I have understood correctly, you buy expired domains that are likely to be randomly searched by people and are hopefully ranking some place as a plus, redirecting that domain to a related amazon product, and hoping you cash in.

Yes, but I'm for sure than some of the domains are also typed "as is" directly at the browser, you know, a lot of people write the keywords.com to fund what it shows.

For the case I explain here the domain its "artistname"collection.com so they write it directly at the browser

I just bought also a domain cheap"productname".com and also generate already some sales with it.

I would rather know the history of my domain names and start from scratch. Then anything that goes wrong will be my issue.

      Good point!

But you really can find great expired domains with the tool, sometimes people just forget to renew it.

What I like most of this tool its option to see the PageRank, Alexa Rank, Google Backlinks, Yahoo Backlinks, Google Indexed, Yahoo Indexed, Bing Indexed & Dmoz Listed.

Just be careful of violating trademarks when you do this. Artists have every right to come after you if you are profiting from the use of their name, like you are in this example.

I just checked the tool you mentioned and I think I will have a good time browsing expire domains. May I know the risk/misfortunes you might have experienced buying just-expired domain names?

What numbers for the info do you consider to be good, such as the google index and # of backlinks? Also, how can a domain have backlinks in yahoo and not in google?

I prefer any regular domain who include main keyword .com that regular guy and gal can type for a search, example: "artist"cd.com or "artist "products.com I also have several "artist"gossip.com redirected to Amazon

Google doesn't include all the link the domain have, but Yahoo does: https://siteexplorer.search.yahoo.com/mysites

    Hi- Thanks for the information.

I was wondering if having a page redirect automatically to an Amazon.com page using a redirect or forward is permissible under Amazon.com's affiliate terms and conditions?

My gut tells me that it is probably not allowed - but if it is allowed, that would be great to know as I can increase my clickthroughs to amazon tremendously.

    Do you know?

    Thanks-Amy

Thanks for sharing that, it's an angle I've never thought of, I usually go for exact keyword domains on low competition keywords, but this would potentially be a way of ranking on more competitive keywords.

I have 10 sites redirected to Amazon and never had a trouble with it, and the conversion rate is nice, because they already are looking for a "buyer keyword"
