Is Imnica Mail Server Down? Can't Access Page for Hours Now....

Any idea what has happen to Imnica Mail? It seem to go down for a couple of hours now....I checked their Fan Page and Twitter and nothing was written about it. Anyone know what happen? Anxious!!!

    I had an email from them a few days ago, telling me they would be resetting their databases to speed things up.

    I think they had an app' that was gobbling up way too much server time, and the only way to get rid of it was going to be a temporary shut down. I seem to remember that they thought it would only take 15 minutes to do it, but I expect life has happened all over that plan.

      Yes, I've been trying it every 10 minutes for hours...lol. Finally decided that my Wednesday deliveries will just have to be done Thursday this week. I'm sure they'll have it back to normal by morning.

    Very sorry about this everyone.

    We're not exactly sure what happened here. We have an automated monitoring and notification system which pages the on-call engineer in the event of any server issues.

    For some WEIRD reason, the actual web server software fell over, but, this was not picked up by the monitoring software.

    The database and email part stayed up, and all scheduled and running campaigns were sent just fine.

    Everything is now back up and running fine, and we're digging into the root cause of the issue.

    We will also be adding some additional checks to make sure this does not happen again in the future!

      Main site is up, and they've added extra site monitoring service to ensure that they get notified immediately if it goes offline. They're working through the problems, but as far as I know none of their issues stopped e-mails from going out to lists.
