You Want To Make Money ... Just Admit It

This is one sales gimmick I hate and I know you've all seen it...

'So, why would I give this information away? .. Well the truth is that I have so much money now that I don't need anymore and I get a real kick out of helping people'

I'd have more respect for these guys if they just said:

'You know, I've made money and I just love to make more so Im selling my technique to make even more money'

If these guys really cared about helping people and didn't need the money they'd post the top secret information on a public board, or keep the cost low to cover their expenses only. I've heard the argument before 'oh, if i gave it away for free it would lose its value' . Why do you care if its valuable or not? You dont even care about the money. Further to that, I bet if you sold 5 million copies you wouldn't be complaining and would that make it saturated?

I don't sell my methods, I never have and I never will because they are whats valuable to me and not the 27 per book I can sell it for.

    Great post Mike. I take it then that your niches are either all non IM or
    you sell products in the IM niche that don't revolve around how to books,
    like DLguard and stuff like that.

    Well, I guess it's time for some true confessions here.

    I do sell all the secrets I know. If I learn something, I sell it. My rational
    to doing so is "Hey, this works for me so it should work for you. So if
    you want to know it, here's my fee. Yes, I'm in this to make money. I
    need to eat just like everybody else."

    I don't know why people are ashamed to admit they want to make money.
    I can't live without it. Nobody is going to pay my mortgage (which just
    got paid off) or my insurance or my food bill or any of that other stuff.

    When the day comes that I can just have anything I want without
    paying for it, sure, I'll give away all my secrets because I really won't have any use for them anymore.

    I know where you're coming from. I hate these "I'm just doing it to help
    people" folks too. Yes, I do love the feeling of having people email me and
    tell me that I helped them.

    But I like to eat too.
