Trying so hard to get affiliates!

EDIT: If you are a vendor looking for affiliates there are some AWESOME tips in this thread so far and people keep adding to them. Definitely some great nuggest in here, so please read the whole thing and add your own!

I've set a goal for myself to hit 50 gravity on clickbank by this time next month (I need 15 steady more affiliates to do it) and I'm sort of running out of places to look for them.

I've sent emails to super affiliates and a handful of them are promoting, but most of my affiliates are website owners in my niche or members of this forum who gave selling game guides a shot. I definitely want to say thank you to those that gave it a shot and worked with me to sell at least one guide per week, one guy on here is even making a sale every single day! He's crazy though, I've never seen someone pick up a niche so quickly, I swear he's a closet warcraft player haha.

I've tried my best to create as many customizable and non-customizable tools to help affiliates make sales. I have even created the option for them to include customizable headlines for the site should they choose to do so and I also offer them discounts, banners, an instructional newsletter, emails, 1800+ keywords, links from my websites, etc.

Since I seem to have exhausted everything I can do to make my product and affiliate area better, what more can I do to get more affiliates? Do you have any websites I should look into participating on such as another forum or other area?

Thank you I really appreciate the help!

What about high ranking YouTube videos. Have you contacted the owners about becoming affiliates?

Type in "warcraft" or "farmville" into Ezine Articles and Articles base - see who is writing, and contact them.

As above, contact youtube video makers - especially those with affiliate links in their descs or links to their blogs where they have affiliate links onwards.

How about incentivising your current affiliate list - offer a private bonus - double commission on your first sale, make 5 sales within a month and get double commission on them all...

This is the best advice I have seen for a while in the forum.

I could add guest blogging to the list. The gaming niche has lots of bloggers and many of them don't have a clue about affiliate marketing. You will have to contact them and explain that they can get a cut of the earnings. Write for their blogs and place THEIR affiliate links in the blog post

      • Thank you all for your tips.

I am actually contacting youtube users already, I should have listed that as something I'm currently doing.

Guest blogging is one of the main ways I grow my blog, but thank you for the suggestion.

The idea of contacting ezinearticle writers hadn't crossed my mind though, I will give that a try.

Are there any forums which I should go to focused primarily on affiliates?

If you have customers send an email to them, letting them know
you have a affiliate program available for them and they can make extra money.

Also you can go to the grabthespider.com.

You can use the software to input your competitors websites and see
who are the biggest affiliates for them.

When you get that information just email or call the affiliates
and let them know about your product.

    hope that helps

Funny enough, I am in the process of creating a huge PLR pack for the Warcraft niche.

Not doing this to be self promotional as much as to mention that I am creating a small PDF file of products to promote in the niche and I made sure to include yours, so that might help you out a bit in this regard.

I do work in the niche too (and I am one of those closet gamers that knows the niche from the inside ) Ill give your product a look over and see if it will work for my needs. I know I have issues getting sales with Luke's guide, which used to be the high gravity gold guide.

Just dont expect me to promote a leveling guide. Zygor has been too good to me.

It is definiately not a leveling guide but it is can be used in conjunction with a leveling guide. It teaches players how to make money with addons on any level character, how to make money while leveling and then how to dominate the ah at max level with 1 to multiple characters.

Thanks for your support! If there is anything I can do for you please let me know

Its a great product, I think your doing some excellent things to get affiliates interested.

After all you won me over! - I just need to find time to actually get something done

My initial plan is fairly big and will take time to actually happen.

You can start small in the meantime. I can promise you that this niche converts very well with article traffic.

Hi there. Yes, as previous post mentioned, if you can really start ranking for youtube vids relating to certain keywords to do with your product then yo can really start bringing the traffic in regardless of your number of affiliates etc. After all, you don't pay you bills with your gravity score on clickbank, you pay it with cash made from selling stuff. I think the following suggestions could definitely help you and your affiliates out.

Do you have either sick submitter or magic submitter? (seo software tools)

If you don't I highly recommend you get one of them (sick submitter is $19 per month and magic submitter is $67 per month). Here's why -

Offer your top 5 affiliates free use of your submission software to help them rank for their blogs, article and/or vids. They simply give you the url of their pages or videos, you run them through the software and they shoot up the rankings, ensuring that their mention of your product gets a lot more traffic and you make more money. Maybe even offer it to the next 10 affiliates who jump on board for instance. With youtube vids and squidoo lenses, ezine articles and the like, it's really easy to start ranking high if you get some good backlinks to them because of how high their pagerank is.

With these software submitters you could get those links in a day no problem. Then just get some monthy link packets off some warriors. You can get some great link packets for under $15 a month. Either way it would be a great tactic for your affiliates and for your affiliate recruitment efforts. It won't really take up any of your time either.

Also, look at some middle of the range ppc networks such as 7search, looksmart, pulse360 etc and do a little testing for your product. If you get good results then let your affiliates know. Mike Geary of 'truth about abs' fame does this all the time. He's done ok for himself from what I gather

Also, get some banners done and then contact warcraft forum owners about letting you display your banners on their sites. Check their traffic stats first but with cutting out the middle man you could probably get a banner in a good spot for about $60 a month. Also, use forums to recruit affiliates. You can be sure that in those warcraft forums somewhere there will be some serious gaming affiliates. Hope this helps.

      Good luck

    An idea for you:

Search google for "game name + guide". You'll probably get a huge list of affiliate sites that are promoting a competitor product, try to contact them and see if they'll work with you.
