With the New Acrobat reader, you can select, Copy and paste PDF Text, and paste it in word.

But some documents don't allow this. How come they dont? are they encripted?

and can we change the settings on the PREFERENCES Page of actobat reader?

or is there a way we can enable Copy and paste?

{I dont like the font of it, and want to paste it in word, print it out for Bedside reading}

    Some wont allow it simply because it makes the document harder to pirate.

    You may find it hard to believe, but there are some that are even encrypted to not allow you to print them out.

    There may be a way to do it, but considering that the author wanted to protect his document that way you might be hard pressed to get an answer on this forum.

    Yeah...this is done to prevent theft.

    Piracy is already a problem for some, this would make it very easy for someone to simply copy and paste sections of a PDF, or the whole thing, and then re-publish it under their own name.
