Has Anyone Had Much Luck Getting Traffic From "Amazines"?

I go to their site and it's so full of ads, adsense, and not to mention a terrible layout I find it hard to believe someone would make it to your resource box.

Have you had much luck getting traffic from them or is it a purely link building directory? Thanks.

    In my experience, I've got very little views and maybe a few click-throughs here and there. Time is better spent submitting to other directories that will produce more views and ultimately more click-throughs.

      I've noticed as I am expanding my reach that there are other directories that deliver views besides EZA, Buzzle, and ArticlesBase but they don't deliver the clicks because their ads are structured in such a way that most will get so distracted they won't ever see your resource box.

      I am going to take your advice and submit to Associated Content. I only submitted 1 article there but it still obtained 97 views.

        Totally worth it man. I've got a ton of traffic from doing it. Only downfall is if you use pen names on other directories - you won't be able to submit those to AC. Either way, worth the traffic. Plus, it takes less than a minute to submit your article there.

          I guess you can get a link from Amazines, but using for traffic is iffy...

          After all, have you ever seen an Amazines page in the SERPs while you were browsing around? I haven't.

          I think most of the 'views' they report are spiders and bots. I doubt there are very many real people reading pages on Amazines.

          Plus, try getting your link above the fold; it's nearly impossible.
